Oceanfront Home with Hot Tub

The hot tub wasn’t working. The dishwasher wasn’t working. The tv in the 1st room upstairs was not working. Expected a lot more from this place, disappointed won’t be staying again.

Great location and access!!

The parking, deck, beach access and superb view are the great reasons to stay here!The home has seen better days...could use some updates but mostly adequate; the kitchen items was a haphazard collection, missing lids, unsharpened knives, pans with burned on food and actual leftover food not cleaned off (utensils,serving items, pots/pans); when we unlocked the hot tub to use, it was murky and heavy with algae growth (unusable); the beautiful wall of windows view was limited by accumulated dirt and spray (we had to clean them all inside and out; there were cobwebs hanging and generally not very clean floor, furniture or carpets (we all live with kids and animals, so we are not clean freaks); the bunk bed room is more like a closet with no other furniture possible and should not be passed off as a BR for 2 adults; the master BR and bathroom upstairs has only a tub with a handheld spray for a shower but no curtain or tiled wall, so unusable.

This house and location was perfect for our group of 6 ladies who have been friends for over 40 years. The living room and dining area set up were perfect for socializing and game playing. The view of the ocean is absolutely breathtaking. We were able to take many walks on the beach straight out our door. Many restaurants are close by. We also loved the hot tub and found the rooms to be spacious and comfortable, 2 with their own bathrooms. We loved our long weekend spent in whispering pines.

Beautiful house with an amazing view and very easy beach access. We had three couples and two teen/preteens. The bunk bed room was a bit small for the tweens but would be great for younger children. Sitting in the hot tub in the evenings looking up at the stars was magical. Close to town and activities yet secluded on a quiet beach and road it offers the best of everything.

We loved the location of this home and it's proximity to the beach. The kitchen had plenty of cookware and dishes which was nice. BUT the house was filthy, we even had to vacuum before we could put our toddler down on it. We picked up so much crud in the vacuum. The rugs and carpet are old, wore out and need to be replaced, I didn't want to walk barefoot in the house. The range hood vent is glass and in desperate need of a good wash. The pic of the floor shows the grippers for the rug, which are no longer aligned. The biggest disappointment was the hot tub, it was filthy and murky water, (see pics) My husband owns a hot tub store, we drained it, refilled it, and put chlorine in it ourselves. We also sprayed out the filter. The filter was missing the top piece so it wasn't even working properly. They also need to cut back some of the trees for a better view. The trees are dropping needles on the deck as well as sap, creating a mess. The BBQ was unusable, so old and dirty.

WHAT A VIEW!This is an amazing property and easily accommodated the three couples very comfortably. We enjoyed the spacious kitchen and wonderful deck with easy access to the beach.

Beach access was a big plus! We especially loved the short walk to the tide pools. Enjoyed the hot tub. Loved that we could have the doors and windows open so we could hear the ocean and still stay warm with the fireplace running. Kitchen was very well stocked. All appliances were clean and worked well. Beds were very comfy. Plenty of room for our group of 7 to hang out. Only negatives were that 1) one of the bathrooms had a tub with a sprayer handle but not a shower. But that was mentioned in the description so we knew going into it, so not a complaint - just not ideal, and 2) the outdoor grill situation wasn’t usable. There was a larger charcoal grill that was piled high with ashes, a small portable charcoal grill that was too small for our group to use and another brick chimney-type grill with a very dirty grate. Ended up making a wood fire on the beach to cook our sausages over and had a blast. Again, not a complaint but something you might want to communicate with the host about if you plan on grilling. Our whole group loved our stay and we hope to come again!

We had a great stay! Everything was in good order and made the stay comfortable. The path down to the beach is easy access and the sitting area down in the tree grove was just so cool! Definitely would come to this house again.

The view and ease of access to the ocean was our favorite part. Easy drive to town for dinners and activities. Onky 3 stars for cleaniness because of a few minor things. Overall fantastic place, we will definitely try to book again.

Hands down one of the best vacation homes we have stayed at. Would highly recommend!

Perfect views and location. Great beach access. Dishwasher did not work and realty company was unable to fix. Dishes in cabinets were not clean. White Corelle dishes, and only 2 wine glasses. Poor quality TV. Tired house- area rugs are worn out, dirty, have holes. Couches and chairs are also worn and dirty. Dining room area rug under table and chairs doesn’t lie flat, catches with chair legs. Carpeting, especially the stairs, is worn and stained.

Rented this with close friends to play some games and was perfect for all of us and thw weather was wonderful

Excellent home at a perfect location on the ocean

Good location. Great view. Short walk to the beach. Open floor plan - kitchen, dining, living area all together meant room for our 7 adults, 3 kids to be together. Ocean view everywhere. Bedrooms comfortable. BBQ was a disappointment. A bit beat up, small kettle uses briquets, not gas. Would stay again.

Property was nice. Just what we needed for a family get together. Great location, roomy house, nice views and beach access. Could have been cleaner and properly prepared for our arrival. But otherwise great.

A perfect place to stay with easy, short access to the beach. The layout of the home is great and our family enjoyed every minute. One of the best family vacations we've ever had.

Upon arrival to this property, we were able to check in easily. As we entered the property, we did notice a lot of dust on tops of spaces and grime on windows which made the beautiful view hard to appreciate. One of our guests actually ended up cleaning the windows just so we could see the ocean view better. The house is as advertised and has all your basic needs. It could use some hot tub towels so you don’t have to use your bathroom linens for the hot tub. Also, the hot tub was not clean. It did have Pineneedles and sand in it. It didn’t keep us from using it. Also, it would be helpful if guests were notified that there is no coffee provided for the two coffee machines. These types of little things make a stay worth five stars as opposed to four stars. We cooked every meal and the kitchen supplies were adequate. We also used the fire place and it heated the main room well. The location of this property is the main attraction. It is steps from the beach. With private beach access you really can’t beat a better spot. It is recommended to cut back some of the vegetation because it was hard to access the beach path due to foliage. We appreciated the beach toys for the kids as well. Overall we enjoyed our stay and for the cost, would stay again.
