Oceanfront Home with Great Ocean View Deck Fireplace Beach Access 2 Dogs OK

It was disappointing in the sense that the furniture and carpet were dirty, as well as lights and fans.We have stayed here for years and love the house.It needs some love.

We had a lovely stay. The view was amazing, the beds were comfortable, and we had everything we expected. We had a little trouble getting in with the lock but the local property manager walked us through it. I would recommend this home for a stay at Rockaway Beach.

Proximity to the beach is truly beyond magical. It was so beautiful and relaxing. The house should have the carpets replaced. It has a wet dog smell that is probably one with the flooring. Furniture is pretty squeeky and rickety. Pillows were plentiful but too fluffy. Window was broken when we arrived but we didnt think it was anything too bad until the glass fell out. Guess it was just floating in the frame, not secured. We ran out of toilet paper and trash bags and the trash can was full from previous visitors so that was challenging.Neighborhood was incredibly quiet, hardly saw anyone. Beach had ppl walking but it wasnt crowded. Found lots of cool seashells. Fun little shopping strip nearby.Lots of dvd choices. Great movie library. If possible, should find vhs kid movies for kid room. Great communication with house management with the few issues we had. Always answered right away and were very courteous. We would consider staying again

We had fun playing at the beach and enjoying the great view. Lots of comfortable beds well supplied kitchen. Great for our family!

Everything you need to cook and enjoy the beach with family. Enjoy cozy vibes with a gas fireplace, sunset views, and a massive movie collection. Private beach access close to a tasty bakery.

We were a multi-generational family group with ages from 14-88. Having a downstairs room for our elderly parents was essential, and they were able to enjoy the beautiful sights and sounds of the beach by walking onto a level deck. The teens loved the easy access to the water for water play and shell collecting. The views are breathtaking from the upstairs primary bedroom as well as the living/dining room. There were plenty of plates, glassware, silverware, cookware, and seating for our group. Precious memories made there.

Stayed for thanksgiving with family. The kitchen is well stocked to accommodate the 13 allowed guests. We’ve stayed at many places with just the bare minimum, which really makes enjoying a food based holiday hard. Not here. We had everything we needed and more. Easy access to the beach made sand time quick and easy with the kids. The beach was never crowded. So many shops within walking distance as well. Will definitely be staying here again. It was easy to get to the bay for crabbing and only a quick car ride to Tillamook.

Pros: amazing view and beachfront Cons: dirty, old indoor/outdoor “carpet” that is in desperate need of replacing, fire place never worked, fridge didn’t work and the replacement hardly turned on and the door wouldn’t latch on it, dusty lamp shades and blinds, primary bedroom had two windows with blinds and one without—hard to get baby to nap without blinds, furniture was very old and smelled of mildew—torn. Unfortunately you get what you pay for but the biggest disappointment was the communication. We arrived to a warm fridge and no one even responded until a guy showed up 45 minutes later (we had $300 worth of groceries and no where to put them). Then the manager called two days later to check in and I told her the replacement fridge wasn’t working that well. She said she’d look into a different one and follow up. Never heard from her again.
