Oceanfront Home w/ Private Beach Access + Soaring Views by Tybee Cottages

Our group of 8 guests (2 little kids) were very happy here, enjoying the lovely house, the beach time and the local national monument and walks/hikes. We were a bit surprised that kitchen details (leftover foil wrap or cleaning supplies from previous guests, for example) were completely absent, but otherwise, the kitchen was adequate for cooking. Tybee Cottages folks were helpful when needs arose. The address was tricky to find. Overall, though, we had a great stay!

The location was beautiful! The photos accurately showed that you can indeed see the ocean from the two porches. We easily lounged and streamed movies at night on the living room television. I loved having my coffee in the morning and going out on the porch/balcony facing the ocean and listening to the birds. The beds were very comfortable and I appreciated the different pillows on each bed - some soft, and some firm.I would say that if you want to cook at all, you need to bring ALL your ingredients as though the kitchen is fully stocked for cooking utensils, plates, etc, there are absolutely no condiments provided (or even a space for them if that tells you anything). They did provide starter coffee for the drip maker which is VERY appreciated, especially for that first morning. Also, they had some travel mugs/insulated mugs which were GREAT to have to use outside.The smaller bathroom showers were a bit dark, but had really good water pressure to make up for it. The two larger tubs were FANTASTIC for nice relaxing soaks.We LOVED our stay at this location and would definitely come back.

The house is wonderful and super clean! It has everything you need for a stay at the beach. Bedrooms and bathrooms are very nice and spacious and two porches to enjoy the outside as well as ping pong and corn hole in the garage make it an ideal place for families to stay. The elevator is an added plus and a large dining table for meals and board games. Seating area in family room and TV is great! Kitchen was well stocked with baking dishes and utensils and outdoor grill as well. Convenient access to the beach via a boardwalk. We hope ti come again!

It couldn’t have been better. The elevator came in very handy for some of our family members. Beautiful view, home and close access to everything.

Exceptionally clean, beautiful, comfortable home located right on the beach with amenities too numerous to mention! They have thought of everything that might make guests comfortable. The home was well furnished and roomy, and our group really thoroughly enjoyed the stay. We'll book again!

It was scrupulously clean and well stocked. We would definitely stay again. Great location, we walked to dinner and shops but had very few people on our end of the beach. we had a wonderful experience.

All was very clean, info was clear, especially regarding tight garage space. Beds were comfortable w/ lots of pillows. Kitchen was modern and had everything we needed Bathrooms were large and well designed and laid out. The water pressure was incredible. Everyone commented about how great it was. It was beachfront and a few in the party ventured over the dune. It was a little chilly for us seniors so we enjoyed from the wonderful porches. I would highly recommend for seniors (elevator was great), couples, and families.

We enjoyed the luxury and comfort this home provided. House was extremely clean and comfortable for our family. We enjoyed being close to the restaurant and shops. Grocery store within walking distance was a plus! Will return

It was a nice space and well stocked. Nice location.

The house itself was perfect. Immaculate, spectacular views, and they thought of every convenience - no Complaints. But - the parking space area is very tight. One of the vehicles parked inside MUST be no bigger than a Honda Civic - a Camry will not fit. The walk to the beach through the dunes is difficult for older guests. Several of us walked out to Butler Ave and over to 11th st to use the full wooden walkway there.
