Oceanfront home-amazing views you can enjoy from the Hot Tub and Pet Friendly

The only good thing about this house is the location. The house smelled so much like mold it was concerning. The kitchen floor is rotted and sinking and so is the side porch. The 3rd bedroom/bath is a make shift room in a very creepy and unfinished and moldy basement. Highly disappointed with this stay. The house should not be rented again until it passes a health inspection. It was one of the worst places that I have ever rented. Two thumbs down. Do not spend your money on this rental.

The deck and the view are amazing. The kitchen was great. Honestly the beds are really terrible. The mattresses should have been tossed 30 years ago as they are likely that old. Updates are needed desperately. This property could be amazing. Maybe they don’t need to update as the views and setting trump the age interior and furniture. It could be a premiere properly with some updates.

Everything was actually here at the house. There were just quite a few things that didn’t work, which made it quite an inconvenience at the last minute for us to come.. we did appreciate the late checkout/ no charge for the inconvenience.

Out of all the outside lights only two worked, called to have the one on the garage fixed and they came out and took the bulb but never fixed it. And there is a homeless encampment not 15 ft off the front deck.When we arrived there was still spaghetti sauce on the dining table and dishwasher.The beds and couchs were like sitting and sleeping on concrete nothing comfortable

The house overall was very comfy and welcoming. We really enjoyed the nice big deck and hot tub.

It was an excellent home. Space was plentiful. The king bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever experienced in a rental! I just wish there was a more direct path to the beach, because it sort of looked like it from the pictures. The public beach entrance wasn’t too far away though. Would definitely stay here again.

The deck and view were amazing. However, the house smelled musty/mildewy, especially in the basement. Bed uncomfortable. Homeless person right below the deck. Didn't feel particularly safe to go out alone. Seemed like some undesirable people congregated up the street. Glad to park in the garage, however, go down a steep flight of stairs, open the garage door, back out, close the garage door, back up the stairs, out the front door, down more stairs to get to the car. Never found the 3rd bedroom and bathroom. Was told it was in the basement but can't imagine anyone sleeping there because of the smell. We left a day early. Will not go back.

Amazing outdoor space. Updated kitchen and primary bath. Beds could use an update. We were caught of guard by the third bedroom being in the unfinished basement portion of the house but thankfully could utilize the pull out couch instead.

The view from the deck and house is stunning. This is the most redeeming quality of this house. Place was clean and looks like kitchen and bathrooms were recently updated. BUT the master bed room bed should have been replaced at least 10 years ago. It was Miserable!! For the price we paid I was shocked at the shape of it. A foam pad was put over it but that didn't not help at all. Saggy, squeaky, like sleeping directly on the springs. Many of the reviews have mentioned this and yet that bed remains. I would not stay here again until I knew that was replaced, yes it was really that bad. Other beds seemed fine. The room in the basement is nice but it is really just off the open garage. Not really a basement at all. Kitchen had about 15 pans, all in the same sad state. Only two pans we felt were safe to use. the rest were all scratched teflon. There was not a can opener. Not even a small hand held one. Fridge struggled to stay cold. Pretty much all of this is in the other reviews I'm reading now; seems like the host doesn't read the reviews or doesn't care to make any changes. I still gave 4 stars because really the view and deck is amazing and that is why we picked the house, but I did expect a lot more basic needs to be met for the price you pay after all the fees. (there is still a homeless shelter below the deck. I see people of commented on this way back in 2024.)

Think there are better places to stay. 2 out of 3 beds horrible (master a lumpy, taco bed, 2nd bedroom like sleeping on a board), kitchen cabinets/counter have been updated but silverware and cookware hodge podge thrift store finds. Bring your own streaming service if you want to watch TV. No screens on any windows and it was hot our first day but couldn't sleep with them open due to bugs. Things need a deep cleaning. Only saving points were view from deck and hot tub and being pet friendly. Plus with all the fees you end up paying double what's advertised. Would re-consider if the above things were fixed but not until then.

Overall, this worked for us for a one night stay but my expectations were a bit higher after seeing the photo of the deck with the beautiful view, only to stand at the railing and see a homeless camp directly under us. It made us feel a bit unsafe especially since one of the bedrooms was in the downstairs area in an unfinished portion of the basement. The best parts of this property were the hot tub and the updated master shower. The TV in the living room didn’t work but others in the rooms did and the dryer took two whole cycles to dry a small load. I think if this was more updated without the unhoused so close by, we may consider staying again for a longer time.

We arrived at 1630, a half hour after check-in. A worker was on the deck waiting for the hot tub to fill up. He was polite and apologetic saying he didn’t know we would be there so early. So our visit started out with a two hour interruption and no use of the hot tub for the first night. Later we found that the furnace would not turn on (it was turned off at the source). The mattress in the master bedroom is beyond redemption, no matter how many foam pads you pile on it. There is a broken red plastic chair on the deck that is a safety hazard. The view from the deck was fabulous and just what we wanted.

Nice older home. Parking and garage was nice. Bathroom and kitchens updated. Very nice deck and views from outside.

The house was clean, close to the beach, and perfect for hanging out reading and doing crafts all weekend. The reason for three instead of five stars is two-fold. 1. The fridge was not cold when we got there and didnt get cold for about 24 hours. We were concered about losing a couple hundred dollars worth of food that we splurged on for our special weekend. We were easily able to contact the property, but it was still nerve-wracking for that first night. 2. We tried several outlets throughout the house, most would not charge our phones.

There was a great view from the nice large deck. We were able to watch the whales from the hot tub!! However, the cleanliness of the home was not the best, there were spider webs and spiders everywhere. The third bedroom is in the garage and unfinished. The garage door doesn’t work, the curtains were all broken, there were no screens on any of the windows and the lawn was more of a jungle. There were not enough towels for 6 people. There were only a couple pans for cooking and they were all old and hard to cook with. No lids for the pots and no baking sheets. The deck was the best part of the entire home and desperately needs to be redone, a lot of slivers this weekend.

Owner and property manager both know there is a homeless shelter directly adjacent to the home and tried hiding the fact.

It was a nice warm place

Everything was wonderful and beautiful view over the ocean.

Most of the remotes have dead batteries so we were playing swap-aro with them. Also the dryer has something up with the timer mechanism, would not stay on long and sometimes would not come on at all. But we enjoyed our stay and would rebook this property again. Thanks for having us.

A lot of stairs for older folks. One tripped on step to bsmt bdrm and hurt knee. Could be cleaner. Nice deck and view. Nice kitchen, bathroom and living area. No propane for bbq. No dishwasher soap or cleaning supplies. Had trouble with one of the burners on the range.

This home needs to be updated. The bathrooms both had black mold in the tub/showe. fixtures old out of date. There is a homeless camp next door/ below this property. Could not greek if itc was active or not, but very concerned about that. This home needs to be update. Win not rent this again. Very disappointing

If you would like to share your stay with the tent camp just off the porch then this is the place for you.

9am told I could check in at 4pm. Arrived around 5pm & house had not been cleaned. Opps! they forgot to let me know that there had been an emergency. Cleaning people nice & professional. We had to wait an hour for cleaning of the property. They did not state that one bedroom was in the basement. The bedroom was opened to the garage AND the bed downstairs was ON THE FLOOR!!! The company will not compensate me for my guests sleeping on the FLOOR in the basement!!! I paid a lot for my vacation. I will think twice or more before I rent property from you again.

We had a great time. I wish the beach access was a little closer but was easily within walking distance. The bed in the master was uncomfortable so I slept downstairs.

This was the worst VRBO that I have stayed in. The view was beautiful, although the deck needed repair and the kitchen was nice. The windows and blinds were dirty, the master bath had black and missing grout, and the vinyl floor was coming up around the tub. The curtains were stained. The hot tub did not work and neither did the TV. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

Beautiful views from the deck. Windows detract from the view. Lots of room for us to spread out, could not get TV in front room to work and there was a strang odor in the house.

The house itself is great! Great location! There was a homeless camp just below the deck that was visible from the property. There was a large tarp and a tent. It was a little un nerving, having homeless people that close.
