Oceanfront dog friendly home with sunny deck ocean view and washer dryer

Loved the property Everything was great!

I loved staying here with my mother. Was very quiet and very close to the beach with its own path to the beach. Parking was awesome and safe with near by food, coffee and grocery. Had a full kitchen was easy for cooking full meals. Heaters work great also! Heater in ever corner.

The lock box was a little tough to open, and we emailed the post today to see if there’s a checkout list and never heard back. Other than that, it’s the best place on the coast.

This place was really clean! Great little duplex, 2 minute walk to the beach. You cant see the ocean from the residence but its a short walk. Pretty private since noone was in the other duplex for our stay. Only a five minute drive to Garibaldi, where you can crab and clam. Super cute!

The house was very pet friendly, although the backyard is not completely fenced to contain a dog. The accessibility to the beach and location to town is great!

I found it very strange that the shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower were more than half full, but the soap dispenser had barely enough soap for two showers.

Nice cute little spot. Just didn't like the proximity of the neighbor. Or maybe just the neighbors themselves.

Was exactly what I was looking for this trip with my 7 year old son and 13 year old daughter. Walk right out the back and quickly onto the beach and only a few blocks from downtown. Perfect for a quiet relaxing beach vacation.

Furniture was a bit old and worn in, but comfortable. The only thing that really bothered us was we were expecting to have a house to ourselves with our own private fenced deck…this is a duplex which you share the deck and it’s not completely fenced fully, so if you bring dogs or curious kids, they can still get out and wander off if you’re not watching. Other than that, it was well stocked with towels/beach towels, lots of blankets, kitchen and cleaning supplies. Another note, even tho it is close to the beach, you do not see the beach from the house. It’s still a little walk away. Other than those things, we enjoyed our stay. D

Place was as advertised. Great location: 30 second walk to the beach, 5-10 minutes to the main business area of town.Really good collection of cookware, all the necessities plus a slow cooker and griddle.No issues with communication. Would rent again.

Nice, clean, it rained but we appreciated the rain gear in the closet.

The property was just over the dunes from the beach…exactly what we were looking for. It was clean, comfortable, and a perfect space for the 3 of us. If we were going to Rockaway Beach again, I would try to rent this same property.

It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The access to the beach was perfect! The lock box was hard to figure out and thankful that there was someone to call after an hour and a half he was able to help me get it open. So a detailed message of that would be helpful.

This was my second time staying here and I just love it. So peaceful, always clean. Wonderful place to get away.

Beautiful beach

We enjoyed our stay at this rental house close to the beach.

Small but well laid out. Newer remodel comfy beds. Good kitchen, well equipped. Not able to use fireplace, would have enjoyed that. Glad we brought our own camping chair for the deck as there were no outdoor chairs The unit next door could make it a great family reunion dpot

Just over the dune lies the sea and there is a big front porch - would be nice to have some chairs out there. There is another unit attached with a breezeway, but the units are very private. The downtown is .4 miles and and easy walk on the beach or an access road. We would definitely return.

The location was fantastic, just a walk over the small dune and you are on the beach. It’s set back enough so you have a lot of privacy. It was incredibly clean, plenty of quality towels and comfortable beds. Best location to explore the sights both north and south of Rockaway. We will definitely rent this again.

I came to the South Beach property with my tween son for his Spring Break. Check-in was efficient with no issues. The bright, open living room has windows everywhere and a nice peek-a-boo view of the ocean past the dunes. Beach access is super easy since it’s just steps away from the property. The beds were comfy! And the WiFi and Roku streaming system worked perfectly. What needs work is the outdated, mismatched, dog hair covered and soiled furnishings. A nice side table with a lamp or a useful coffee table in the living room would be really great too. Also, the kitchen is ill equipped with very little basics (plates, utensils, cleaning products, seasonings or even cooking oil) so plan to bring your own, the electric stovetop and dishwasher were hit/miss and the pots & pans are long past their expiration dates. Basically, if you prefer cooking a well prepared meal for your family, this isn’t the place for you. Additionally, we had an ant invasion in the TV room during our stay which I had to remedy on the fly. Finally, there is active mold growing in the washing machine and the laundry closet door appears to have been broken for some time. Easy clean-ups and maintenance that could have made it a much nicer stay. Overall, the most meh Vacasa place I’ve ever visited.

This property was clean, comfortable, right on the beach, and very well managed! I will be back!

We enjoyed a quiet weekend in a great location.

This was our second visit to this property. We so enjoyed the first visit we decided to return.

We had a great time. Comfortable stay with our dog. Easy beach access and right in town.

The house was extremely comfortable and so close to the beach that it made getting out incredibly easy. Worth noting that there's stores for whatever you'd need within about 3 blocks walking distance. Checking in and out was easy and we had everything we needed/wanted while we were there.

Great location at the edge of the beach dunes with the ocean a short walk away. Very clean and well appointed. It’s a short walk to downtown. We were there for the kite festival weekend and the kites were beautiful! It has everything needed for lounging, cooking and sleeping. Garibaldi is close for fishing and has good fish markets. Tillamook is not far and there are lots of fun things to do there. We enjoyed our stay very much!
