Everything was just amazing. Hostess did an amazing job of describing the house, location, amenities etc. we would definitely come back and stay again.

Wonderful property with beautiful views of the ocean from the back of the house that is all sliding glass doors. Lounge chairs on back deck made sunbathing and star gazing perfect. Very comfy beds, pillows and furniture. Lots of clean towels for bath & beach. Barbi is very professional and responsive. Excellent to work with. Overall a perfect stay.

This property is fabulous - the view is amazing, the house itself is well equipped for renters, and the beach is private and stunning. The owner is super responsive and easy to work with, and provided several suggestions both prior to and during our stay. Removed one star simply because the island itself has some infrastructure issues (re: power outages) that can be challenging. Not the fault of the owner and nothing they could do about fixing the issue (short of installing a generator for those occurrences), but be aware that power loss is a possibility.

Hands down one of my top 3 favorite vacations! Bootsies is the perfect location. Close enough to everything by car. Clean, beautiful, and fully stocked with everything, both inside and for the beach. Barbara is an outstanding and attentive host who stayed in touch with me before and during my stay. I haven’t experienced this with any host before. She also gave us so many great tips and suggestions. I would recommend a stay here to everyone I know. I cannot wait to book again!!

Let me just say that the views from this lovely beach house can't be beat! Whether you're inside the house or out on the deck, the views are amazing! The beach itself is very secluded. We only saw 4 other people on the beach the entire week we were there. Very quiet and very relaxing which is what we were looking for. The house is very clean and everything you need is provided. Kitchen items, beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella etc. You will need to buy your own toilet paper, hand soap etc. The owner Barbi is very responsive to phone calls and emails. I had to call her once and email a few times and she responded right away. Now for the cons...keep in mind that these are my opinions only and may not reflect ypur opinions or preferences, and some are just things we weren't aware of prior to vacationing in the Bahamas which was our fault for not doing our homework ahead of time. We were not aware that they drive on the left side of the road which was a little scary at first but my husband got used to it pretty quickly. There are random speed bumps on the road which are difficult to see until you get right up on them so be careful. Everything is very expensive here and not every place takes credit cards so bring plenty of cash. The locals are very friendly and welcoming to visitors. We ate at 4 restaurants while visiting and here are my thoughts on those. 1648 was my favorite. Great views from the deck. The staff was amazing and so was the food. I ordered the shrimp and sausage

We absolutely LOVED our stay the property and on Eleuthera! This home was perfect for exactly what we were seeking- peace, isolation, ocean front. We are active adventurers and divers so the home was perfectly situated where we could access both the north and the south parts of the island. (If you are a diver, go diving with Chad Sinden down in Cape Eleuthera!) The home had everything we could need to cook and be comfortable while also giving us access to a gorgeous windswept beach on the atlantic side. The beds were very comfortable and the AC and Wifi worked perfectly. This is one of our favorite homes we've ever stayed at and we travel a lot!

Wow! This is truly an amazing place! The location, the view of the ocean from the house, and the house itself was beautiful! We had the beach all to ourselves and took long walks, snorkeled, did some fishing and relaxed by the ocean. We stargazed on the deck in the evening! The house had everything we needed and our host was very responsive when we reached out with any questions, and very easy to work with. We would highly recommend staying here - we were sad to leave! You won’t be disappointed!

We had a great stay at this property. Everything was as it appeared on the site and the view is even better in person. Barbi is easy to work with, not that we had any problems :). We would definitely stay here again.

This house and the other one next door that Barbi owns, Bonefish Barbi’s, are both wonderful vacation homes. They’re clean, comfortable and convenient to the airport, Governors Harbour, and other places on the island if you have a car and are inclined to explore. Barbi is very responsive to questions and. Is very easy to work with. After staying in many other places around Governors Harbour over the years, these two houses have been my favorites, which is why I keep coming back to them.

The pictures don’t do this beautiful house justice. Incredible 180 degree Atlantic view from the spacious main room and deck. House has a great floorplan with a large shared living/kitchen/dining space and two bedrooms on either end. Place was spotless, and all the screens worked for bug protection - a rarity on Eleuthera. Good snorkeling on the reef out front and to the left of the house. Would absolutely stay here again.

The view is stunning from every room! Beautiful beach and a very responsive host!

This house was beautiful, sitting perched above a lovely beach. There was constant wind with the sound of the ocean and waves crashing on the beach. Nice breeze - although we were there when there was a weather event so it was a bit abnormally windy. We only used the air conditioner once, just to get a little humidity out. The breezes kept us cool. Centrally located to get to great beaches and supplies within 20 minutes north or south. Highly recommend.

Everything about this house was perfect. I would choose this house again immediately. Beautiful beach right on the doorstep and perfect for snorkeling. the house is very clean and really has everything you need.

Barbi is incredible and so quick to respond. The house is absolutely beautiful! The views when you first walk out on the deck are breathtaking. The people that live in town are some of the nicest we’ve ever met. Already want to plan a trip back here!!!
