Oceanfront Beach House - Steps from the Sand

Wonderful home for a family vacation. Property manager Mike was great! Enjoyed our stay so much!

Overall a fun week…several items need attention and they were reported to the owner

Stayed at this oceanfront beach house for a week with a multi generational family of 10. The location to the beach is suburb and pictures do not do it justice to show how close you really are to the beach. The house had everything we needed, even beach chairs and boogie boards. Mike was very attentive to the few questions we had and got back to us within minutes of texting through the vrbo app. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a great location on the beach. If I were to say anything negative, it would be the shower water pressure leaves a bit to be desired, but it is an older home, so that is to be expected. The home is updated, clean and well appointed for several guests. Thanks, Mike!

Arrived to be told hottub wasnt working. None of the outside lights on the patio worked. The gas fire pit wasnt working (no tanks?). The refrigerator was working, which we were told after the fact that someone was coming to look at it. It was not able to be repaired and we were told by PM that they had to order one and it wouldnt arrive during our stay. We had to use coolers for 10 days, and was politely told where we could buy ice. PM was in contact with us all week however no issue was resolved. We had agreed to have garage space for our motorcycles, which wasnt ready when we got there. It could be such a beautiful property and it is in a great location, but there is major disconnect somewhere. Breakers kept blowing too!

Worst Vacation Ever!Thanks Michael! We read the online description, read the reviews, read the contract, thought we did homework, wow were we wrong. Let me say this is not first time renting house on VRBO, but this is the first time that we we're fooled. From the minute we pulled into the driveway...Michael met us with the keys to tell us the Hot Tub pump is down & that he is trying to get a repair man out asap. Ok, things happen, no problem. He points to a exterior basement door & says thats the door to the laundry, you have to use a separate key to access it. Interesting, but ok. We unload our stuff, including our groceries. As the evening continues on we notice the fridge isn't cooling. Next morning we message Michael, who by the way is a quick responder....he will try to get a repair man out. Ask about Hot Tub, still nobody available. As the day proceeds and we start loosing food, I message Michael again & he gets a little snippy saying that it hasn't been that long, we go & by ice to keep the food cold. Needless to say this is how our week goes..cooling our food in coolers, until day 3 when Michael finally purchases new fridge & has it delivered after he had to stop by the house to make sure we were telling the truth about the current fridge. While at the house we mentioned the fly infestation....we had killed 100 freaking flies! They were so bad we had to buy fly swatters. No we didn't have the doors open,the weather was too bad to keep doors open. Asked about HotTub status in which we were told conveniently that HotTub guy couldn't come until Friday afternoon.....sameday we were due to checkout. Pool Boy stopped by & spill the beans, the Hot Tub has been down for over a month with a leak & they cant seem to fix it. Something that would've been nice to have conveyed to us, since this is #1 reason we rented this house. You have to be a rocket scientist(and yes we are educated people)to use the shower systems in this house, the toilet seat in the MB was broke from the day we arrived, but I didn't mention it until the end as I just really wanted a fridge & hot tub. Blew a breaker & was told fix. 1/2 of us left day early. The last day the neighbor was in the basement doing his laundry! If you like strangers in the house, mold on walls, larva eggs on walls in basement, foundation cracked this is the house for you. I have pics. Asked for refund, just to be threatened with being charged w/damages. We left house cleaner than we found it.

The place was everything it said it was. Right on the beach, with the sounds of the ocean putting you to sleep everynight. The beach was just steps from the patio. Wonderful location.

We loved everything about this property and our stay! Great location, privacy yet beach front! Highly recommend!

Our family made some incredible memories together at this lovely home. We will be booking some future stays as well. The owner and Mike are very accommodating to work with! Don't look further for another rental- you will not be disappointed! John and Patti

We had a fantastic time at this home. It was well stocked with towels, soap, etc. The pool and hot tub were wonderful and we enjoyed them so much. The view was fantastic! Would definitely recommend this vacation rental! Hope to stay there again next year.
