Oceanfront 6BR home w/ private pool near Surfside Pier

Pool and deck were clean but were weathered and needed help. House needed a good dusting. Floor smelt like a bar the next morning.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: From booking to checking in and out, Sea Star is a wonderful realty company to book through. They responded quickly to our requests or concerns however the follow through for the two repair requests didn’t happen. The beach rental company however, for chairs etc was excellent. Great communication and when I alerted them to the fact that our umbrella had last a tip on one of its spokes, they replaced it in a timely fashion. The location is great, clean and well stocked. This was our second time renting Vacation Station. Each bedroom having a bathroom is a big plus for our big family. We recommend more hooks in bedrooms and bathrooms.

Positives: Great location and view. Easy access to the beach. Plenty of space for a large group. Well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds. Negatives: The house was musty and potentially moldy. There were visible black spots in most of the air vents throughout the house. It was also dirty and dusty, as if it had not been recently cleaned. The pool was not clean but the day before checkout, the cleaning crew showed up. Overall, the house has potential as a great rental, it just needs more attention.

Excellent location right on the beach and the house was so awesome for our families.

We had a lovely time at this property. It is a quiet and clean beach and community. Great access to beach and we enjoyed walking out the main level to the pool ( which we paid for heating!) the kitchen and great room area and an extra large table which was perfect for our large family who loves dining in and cooking. The kitchen is well equipped although many of the pans were well worn but the ice maker a big bonus. Some appliances need maintenance. We appreciated the quick service on the disposal when it started to leak. But once services, we had no issues! We only have two complaints: 1) we had a few roach sightings. Management offered to spray but we opted to wait until we left because we were worried that would make them come out more! We bought our own traps. Overall the house needs a deep cleaning. The surface areas, kitchen and baths were clean but very dusty and lots of corners with dirt and stains. 2) there appeared to be no fish in the ocean - haha! It’s a great home for families and friends. Bedrooms are very spacious, kitchen /LR Vee spacious and nice to have a bathroom for every bedroom!

Beautiful views from inside this oceanfront home and on its decks. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to stores and restaurants. Home needs a deep clean and restocking of pots, pans and utensils.

We loved the house and the beach. It was very comfortable and lived great for our large group. However, it was filthy. The kitchen floor was black with dirt and filthy fingerprints all over the doors, wood work and walls. The TV remotes had dead batteries and and no backs and there was no broom or basic cleaning supplies. Vacation Station is a great spot but needs a good scrubbing and some attention to detail.

Fantastic location, beautiful home that accomodates large families... layout of the home was fantastic.. from the living room step right out to a large deck with pool and fantastic views of the beach... steps to the beach on private walkway... each bedroom had it's own bathroom with shower and a tub. One of the bedrooms had a sunk in jacuzzi tub which was great to relax in after many adventures that we shared as a family. The kitchen was fully stocked from silerware to plates to pots and pans.. oh yes.. and coffee pots! I would recommend this vacation rental to anyone looking for that perfect getaway!
