Ocean View~Walk to Scarborough Beach~4BR 3BA 3 level Affordable Private Home

Short review: it was a wonderful stay at a terrific house. Plenty of space for seven people/three generations; comfortable, well equipped and clean; view of the ocean from the living room window; and super responsive host. 10 out of 10.More detail: the house is three levels, with the main floor in the middle - kitchen, sitting area, two bedrooms and a full bath. Upper level was great for my daughter’s family: two bedrooms, full bath and a large nice living area. With a baby and a six year old they were able to keep their bedtimes (and wake times!) separate from ours downstairs. And the lower level was a great additional space for the kids to play and adults to watch the big TV. Overall a lot of space that suited us very well.Our Texas contingent was excited with the ocean so close and enjoyed walking down and seeing the lighthouse in the distance.Our host was very helpful. Aside from providing a great space, she was very patient with my many questions, and was generous enough to return some things we left behind.If we’re ever back in Rhode Island we’d love to stay again!

Beautiful spot with ocean views and spectacular sunrises. Interesting set up with 3 floors offering privacy and plenty of room to all gather together. Loved the place!

It was the perfect location for my family and sister’s family to stay at. We had plenty of space for all of us. The walk to the beach was short and easy to get to and the view of the beach from the house was beautiful. We had a wonderful time there. I had no problem with communicating with Cheryl. My family recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again next time we come back to visit Rhode Island.

From the moment we walked in everything was perfect. We felt “at home” with beautifully decorated rooms, great space for just sitting around, and everything was meticulously clean. Not to mention, the view of the ocean was amazing. Communication with the owners was easy and thorough…everything was exactly as described. We look forward to visiting again!

House was Beautiful and very clean....Wish we could of stayed longer...nice to have our entire family together even if it was only for a weekend! Would recommend this house for a summer vacation for sure! THE HOST was great and I know why she would be very careful who rents her house. Thanks for renting your house to us!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your house. The house was spacious and had many areas for congregating. All the bedrooms were comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with anything you might need. Our favorite part was the proximity to the beach. A few minutes walk and you were there.

We loved our stay here! The house was perfectly clean with plenty of room to spread out and relax. The beds were really comfortable; I usually have a hard time sleeping away from home but I slept great here. The location was wonderful and we appreciated the welcome treat from the owner. We would definitely love to come back and stay here again!

The location of this property is perfect. Beautiful view of the ocean and just a short walk to the beach.

This house fit all of our needs. It was large enough for all of us to gather together in the upstairs living room. The view from both living rooms was amazing and so soothing. Beds were comfy. Kitchen was well stocked with all of the cookware that I needed for a family breakfast. The little touches like cheese and crackers in the fridge and a basket in the bathroom with in case you forgot items was a pleasant surprise. Cheryl reached out to me to make sure our preferences were ready for our arrival. I fell in love with Rhode Island when my son started college there 4 years ago and my husband and I celebrated our empty nest with a trip to Misquamicut. I have been back several times. Scarborough Beach area is perfectly located with all of our favorite spots only 30 minutes away. The ferry is minutes away along with Point Judith lighthouse. My only complaint is that the week went by way too fast!

The home was exactly as pictured and comfortable . I was quite surprised to see a basket labeled “in case you forgot” that included toothbrushes and deodorant among other things. There was enough toilet paper for the week and cleaning essentials (home and laundry) were also there. A lot of thought was put into what you’ll need when you arrive - most others we have to go out to grab these items when we get there. There are also some lovely spots for photos inside and outside the home. We will definitely stay here again.
