SERENITY HOUSE at Seaside Beach: Have you ever wanted to stay in that home you saw in a magazine Then you will love this newly renovated home that towers over the others with a view from every floor! Located at the end of the Promenade on the Northside of Seaside, this house is gorgeous and waiting for guests. The home has so many sleeping options for your party of 12 with four bedrooms, one family room with bunk beds, and three and a half bathrooms. One room is a massive bunk room for the kiddos, 2 Queen rooms and a King room, another is on the third floor with a King bed and sweeping views of the Beach and Pacific Ocean. The kitchen is a chef’s dream and the living room is what family togetherness is all about. The pictures are worth a thousand words, so enjoy the photos and book your stay.

    This house has everything you can imagine. The only thing I would change would be to put two double beds in the rooms that have a King size bed to accommodate more of our team members in the same house. We ended up putting a couple of folks in hotels nearby which was not too bad, but they felt left out when they came to the house and experienced everyone being together.

    This VRBO uses a second rental service to maintain the property, they hand out the keys, walk through the home, do inspections, call you several times, show up to clean at another scheduled time, and collect the keys... If it sounds like a second job while your on vacation, it is. As I told the rental service, I felt like they were a Buy Sell Trade transaction, gone wrong. It was ridiculous. We were there with the whole family for a basketball tournament. The key pad (although worked great) was our only access to the home, because we came in after 5pm on friday. I then received several phone calls to schedule a walk through and key drop off for Saturday morning. I also needed maintenance to flip a breaker that had blown in the middle of the night, so maintenance came and left - still no house key. Schedules with the rental service continued not match up, finally meeting with them in the pm Saturday night, where we scheduled our home checkout for literally 15 hours later. I emailed to change the time to 11:15am, because we had late checkout and a basketball game conflict, they never got the email and their housekeepers rang the doorbell (on the wrong - I couldn't open the door), at the original time while everyone was still getting ready for the day. I opened the different door, and gave the housekeeper the keys - that we never once used!! Then the phone calls started again, they needed to do an inspection for checkout. I expressed my concern and the stress of their company, and was met with very poor de-escalation skills where she repeated, I'm sorry you feel that way over and over. I rolled my eyes and told her goodbye, and decided we would never stay at a VRBO that wasn't held directly by owners, again. Review on the home, super charming. Everything that was needed was available, except it is a little bit more like staying in a motel, as I was hoping to find some butter and it wasn't there. A second bathroom has been made out of the entrance, mud room. It is very awkward for entry into smells, or for running outside when someone is using the toilet. This room is also FREEZING. Again, reminder, key pad is on this door and we couldn't open the other. The view is pretty good, but the location is terrific. Beds were comfortable. Very warm nice temperature downstairs, super cold upstairs, that was why we utilized the provided heaters - but blew a fuse at midnight and slept in the cold dark until morning. Loved the home - hated the service.
