Ocean View | Right on the beach!

Host was welcoming period. Neighborhood was very pleasant. View was very nice. Property could use a little maintenance. I replaced a battery in one of the ceiling fan light remotes and repaired a lampshade. Overall , my stay was very nice and I would return to the property again.

Everything was great!

The house is in a nice location. The ocean view is perfect. There were heavy equipment operators posted up in front of our house dredging sand all night though and their bright lights beamed through the windows. No trash bags which I found weird and inconvenient for the amount we paid for the weekend. The pictures make the house look a lot better than in reality.

Loved the direct beach access! So convenient.

The location of the home was superior, best that I have had for a beach front home. It was only 5 miles to WalMart. They allow short stays, which is perfect because we like 4 nights. Bring all of your own beach supplies including chairs & towels.

We spent 3 nights at this house & overall really enjoyed ourselves. We loved the location- right across from the beach! With little ones in tow I had not realized how convenient having quick access is. The exterior showed some wear & tear from the saltwater. But that should be somewhat expected given the proximity to the beach. There was a grill but it was too rusted to be usable. Luckily I reached out & confirmed beforehand that there wouldn’t be a grill so we came prepared, but it would have been nice to have already at the house. The porch swing and rinse off area was great. One evening we decided to have dinner on the porch but realized we were eating in the dark- need more lightThe first floor bedroom is completely removed from the rest of the house. You have to go outside and up the stairs to enter the main house. It was too far away for us so no one slept in there. I suppose previous guests felt that way too because the room did have a stale smell to it. It was a great use of space for a midday break from the beach though because it was so cold. The kids huddled up and watched a movie while the sun was blazing outside. The kitchen had all the pots/pans you could ever need. Some were well loved but others were still usable. Fridge/freezer worked well. The bedrooms and bathrooms fit our needs also. The floor mats seemed dirty and needed a good wash.Overall, the neg did not outweigh the positives and we all enjoyed our time in Galveston and most def will return

Pictures were a bit deceiving but enjoyed the beach. House was a little dated was right on beach and was very convenient to Galveston Seawall.

Literally 100 steps to the water with excellent viewing from porch! This made for a memorable 50th anniversary with family!

We have been coming to Galveston for the past 6 years and have rented a house each year. This was the most disappointing house we’ve rented. While the pictures accurately depict the layout, the pictures are otherwise very misleading. The house is extremely aged, with black mold coming out of the light fixture in the kitchen. However, The location was perfect and it did have good space for 3 families (2 kids, 2 adults per family) to fit comfortably. This is the first time we’ve rented from a company vs. an individual and you can tell the difference in the care of the house. The company does not check on the wellness of house like an individual would do before guests arrive. Was not clean when we arrived and has not been updated. Other than location, we were extremely disappointed.

Our first rental property experienced significant water damage due to a slow leak resulting in the collapse of the ceiling in one of the bedrooms. Luckily no one was hurt, but the impacted bedroom was inhabitable. After a night of shifting the guests and a stay at a local hotel another property was offered which met our needs. The company did their best rectify the situation and the inconvenience. The new rental property was an upgrade but was located in a more remote location of the island making enjoying the popular attractions of the island difficult.

Family vacation with little kids. Nice size property and we appreciated the private beach. And close to restaurants and other activities.

The property was so nice and absolutely perfect for our stay. There was plenty of room for everyone to have a little bit of their own space and own bed (12 people including a baby and 2 young kids).We loved the outside area downstairs and how convenient it was to the beach. We want one of those outside large swings! It was perfect to sit out with the breeze. We actually even slept on it one evening.

Great beach access and views!Beach was quiet and clean.Clean towels and bedsheets.Outdoor restroom and shower huge plus! Plenty of outdoor furniture to enjoy the outdoors. Wish the ground level rooms did not stink. My brother didn’t end up coming and thank goodness because those rooms smelled horrible. Some of the beds were not made and we had to make them. This place was pricier and changed a cleaning fee yet the beds were not made and the floors felt dirty.

The house was beautiful and clean. Wonderful location we absolutely loved it.

The house was just as described: close to the beach and very nice. I was very impressed with the cleanliness. The only negative, and it is small, is that the tub shower on the main floor is EXTREMELY slippery and poses a hazard. A few tub appliques might be in order. Otherwise, we LOVED our visit and hope to return.

All of us were 79 or 80 years old and we were thrilled with everything. The railing on the stairs was a little too wide for the women to get a good grip and the second floor shower/tub was slick as ice so a mat should be added. suggestio

Plenty of room for all of us. Great location, just steps from the beach. Nice, clean house. We would choose this property again

Perfect place for our large group!! Location was ideal!!!! Clean and open with wonderful views of the water!!! Plenty of parking. Very close to town!!! Will be keeping this in mind for next time!!

We were 9 women - 3 Senior Moms with our adult daughters celebrating the matriarch's 70th birthday. There were some safety issues which we brought to the attention of the property manager. Assuming those were addressed we would definitely stay again. Kitchen was well equipped, great washer/dryer. And the patio/deck were fabulous. The managers were responsive to our calls/needs and everything worked beautifully.

The house is great, the beds are awesome, everything is clean, Few steps from the beach, it was a great experience for our family and would love to come back if We are in the area.
