Ocean View Retreat! Pets, Fenced, Community Pool

Had a great time. Everything was clean and working. AC was really good! Awesome full size bunk beds! Perfect place for a vacation!

The house was great. It had just the right number of beds and rooms for our family weekend getaway, and it was conveniently close to the beach. It has a huge backyard that can accommodate outdoor games. Loved that there is an outdoor shower to rinse off before entering the house.

We had a great time the beach was in walking distance less then 3 mins and is so beautiful, there is a really big log you can sit on in the water perfect for the kids. (Still with adult supervision) I like that there wasn’t a lot of tourists so it was much cleaner then other areas. There is alot of wood and seaweed but it can easily be moved to the side. As for the house it was very beautiful and as described in the description. Plenty of space for all 7 of us and they are pet friendly. The kitchen has all the pots, pans, utensils, plates, and cups you will need for your stay. Everything was clean when arriving and they offered a few extra things like soaps for hygienes and to wash clothes also cleaning supplies. Games were also available keeping the kids occupied when not at the beach. Over all I definitely recommend this place with Kathy. Thank you!!!

My husband and I stayed at Sunny and Chair for four nights with our baby (7 months) and two dogs. We had the best time. Part of that was because of the close proximity to the beach and the house was extremely comfortable. They had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The house was clean and spacious. We could see the sun set every evening from the deck and the seating below the deck made for a nice breezy hangout spot as well. My husband and some family that were staying down the road were able to go fishing at night. The marina had lights and was not crowded. Our dogs also enjoyed their stay. The large backyard was great for them to run around and play. Overall, we had a very pleasant and memorable stay!

Our family really enjoyed the view and the yard for our dog. The house was adorable and clean. We would stay here again when in Galveston.

We loved the location of this property. The view was great! The host was quick to reply when needed and even let us add a day on to check in early last minute. The home did have plenty of room and a great deck for our party of 8 but it did feel pretty tired. The doors were all very loud to open and close and woke everyone in the house up, the bathrooms didn’t have enough towels and some of them were sour, overall it was a little dirty and dingy. They also no longer had a propane grill on the property which was a major selling point to us and wasn’t communicated to us ahead of time so that was a bummer.

Great accommodation, clean , nice and cool. Great location, close to the beach. Nice that there was a community pool.

Very pleased with our stay and accommodations. Home was clean, well maintained and gorgeous views of the ocean. Great location and easy to get to. Family friendly, perfect for my 3 year old son, parents and 2 dogs as well. Kathy was very responsive and informative. Would highly recommend this home to family and friends!

Ideal location for our dogs. Large, secure and relatively quiet back yard, and they love soaking up the sun on the deck. Short walk to the beach and you can hear the surf much of the time. Clean and pretty well stocked with items most guests will need. Probably not the best location for active families looking for quick access to Galveston entertainment, but that's not what we were after.

Very nice and great veiws

The property is a perfect property for a large family gathering. Multiple beach accesses away from the crowd of Galveston yet close enough to do anything in Galveston with ease. Definitely recommend.

We’ve stayed at this home for several years. We love the neighborhood and the location of the home. The porch is one of our favorite places to be. It has a shady sitting area as well as sunny to enjoy the beach view and breeze. We’ll be back!
