Ocean View Home One Block From the Beach in Waldport, Dog Allowed!

Lea house was exactly what we were looking for, ocean view, easy walk to beach, very comfortable house that had a well-appointed kitchen. The deck with glass wind screen was a real bonus. We were two couples who travel with our small dogs, they both insisted on spending hours on the deck just watching what was happening in the neighborhood. Waldport has my favorite beach on the Oregon coast!

We stayed at this same cabin last year and it was the same great experience for our family.

We found the house to be warm and full of light. Their furnishings, though dated, or comfortable. The owners have thoughtfully provided everything a person could want to create a meal for themselves. We really enjoyed ourselves and would be happy to return. The only negative that I would mention Is that next to the refrigerator there is a tsunami evacuation sign hung as an art object. Out on the street corner nearest the house there is a post with an evacuation arrow, but missing the round tsunami evacuation sign that would let any newcomers know that the arrow refers to an evacuation route . We speculated that perhaps the missing sign, critical to the safety of the neighborhood, is now located next to the refrigerater in this home. I would hope that if that is the case that the homeowners would return the sign to provide guidance to others during a crisis.

Defiantly will stay again

Location was superb. Loved the sound of the ocean waves. Less than five minutes walk to the beach. Well stocked with kitchen ware etc. lacked screens on most of the windows and doors. Couldn’t leave them open to hear the ocean. Beds need help. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. Great value. Did I mention great location

My family (spouse, children ages 5 & 7) and I had a lovely visit to the coast and enjoyed our stay at this location. Conveniently located to Newport, and a manageable short walk down to the beach. The house, especially kitchen, was well appointed and we enjoyed the views from the deck. The deck surface could use some refinishing, or definitely plan to wear shoes out there. We wished we'd had some basic cleaning wipes, like Clorox or Lysol or similar, stocked in the kitchen, and we found ourselves ushering several spiders out of the house each day. We noticed one window without a screen in the living room, which would have been nice to be able to keep that open, but for fear of more bugs entering the house, we kept that one closed. The game selection was a bit lacking, but the kids loved the collection of VHS movies available. We would definitely return! Thank you for a wonderful getaway!

The house is a great location for staying at the beach. Even though it is not oceanside there is a great view from the kitchen and living area. We really enjoyed our stay!

The property was perfect for our fathers day getaway. Check in was easy and the place was clean, had lots of amenities and had absolutely stunning views of the Ocean. We are thankful for such a wonderful place to stay and look forward to going back in the future!

Would recommend to anyone. Staff was very helpful in the checking in process. Place was incredibly clean and having use of the garage made storing our bikes easy and convenient to go for rides.

Plenty of space, fantastic lighting. Big open living area with kitchen, two great suites, one upstairs and one down.
