Ocean View Home in Road's End, Great Amenities, Easy Beach Access Nearby

Overall a wonderful stay. Pros: Great views and location. Clean and comfortable. Kitchen had cookware and dishes, towels and bedding were all ready for us. Cons: Barbecue handle broken making it dangerous to cook with, WiFi didn’t work (messaged host and said they’d send a tech but we’d rather not be disturbed on our trip), one bathroom sink drain didn't drain properly, upstairs shower drain stuck on plugged unless holding open, minor signs of mold (it’s the coast, moisture is going to happen) and I woke up with an inch long Centipede crawling on my face at 2AM in the upstairs bedroom.

Great place for a girls weekend - nice comfortable couches, multiple beds for our own space and close to everything. View from the table and deck are amazing.

For a beach house it's not the worst but for the price we paid it was a big disappointment. No one is deep cleaning in this house. Carpets are stained, built up dirt in many corners, everything just just looks over used and worn out. Several of the shades were broken including the one on one of the big picture windows in living room. It's just hanging by one corner. I saw someone else complained of the same shade a while back and the response was the shade and all of the issues had been fixed. The pocket door on 3rd floor bath is broken so a curtain was hung over the door on a cheap rod that kept falling down and the frame of the pocket door is coming off and is going to hurt someone. I have pictures of these things and a list of more. We were afraid to go on back deck, which is where the best ocean view is, as it is so rotten and big areas of erosion of the boards. That all being said I know this is a beach house and things wear out but for what you charge you should keep it up and live up to what you have listed about it. What we did like is there were plenty of towels, linens, extra pillows, blankets, tissues, t.p. and kitchenware and the view from 3rd floor is amazing. We also really enjoyed the basement t.v. room with the huge comfy chairs. We will not stay there again.

The home is in desperate need of repair and maintenance. Blinds are broken, the deck is rotting, the beds are uncomfortable. The kitchen did have basic items provided. Linens were well-worn but clean. A few updates to the home would make it a comfortable and nice place to stay.

This place was super clean and cozy! The master bedroom is amazing. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be staying here again!

Great view and generally comfortable. However, house seemed dated, needed some work (i.e. deck) and wasn't too well supplied (i.e. lack of wash cloths). We wouldn't stay in this house again.

Very nice property with gorgeous views. The couches and beds are very comfortable and the smart TV so enjoyable.I think the 2 large windows upstairs need blinds, and it would be great to be able to open a few more windows. One of the blinds on a large downstairs window doesn’t work, but these are minor things. Thanks for a great stay!

Definitely will consider this property for our future needs. That ocean view is probably our favorite aspect of this location

It was a good house, lots of kitchen items to use. View is gorgeous and quiet. The place was relaxing and inviting. Loved the art and decor. Needs some improvements but nothing major, maybe a good power wash on the fence around the deck would have been nice. If you are bringing kiddos I suggest to bring your own safety gate for the entryway to the basement as there is no door there.

Property has a good view. It needs some a little money put back into it. One of the two plastic chairs on the deck was broken. The pocket door for the upstairs bathroom needs maintenance to slide smooth. The pocket door handle was not secured.

Stayed here with my two adult sons and a group of friends — and we couldn’t have picked a better spot. The house had everything we needed, from dishes to pots and pans, and was exactly as advertised. It’s an older home, but has a lot of charm and character.The location was perfect — close to restaurants, the outlet mall, casino, and just a short walk to the beach. Listening to the waves at night was peaceful and really added to the whole experience. Parking at the house was no problem at all, and the view is absolutely amazing — especially from the upstairs room.A few days before check-in, the owner gave us a quick heads-up that a serviceman might need to come out to take a look at the furnace. It was no issue at all — everything was handled smoothly and professionally, and the furnace worked great during our stay. Just to be safe, we brought a few extra blankets, which turned out to be a good call since it does get a little chilly upstairs at night. But honestly, waking up to that view made it totally worth it.Communication with the owner was excellent from start to finish, and check-in/check-out was a breeze. We’re definitely planning to make this our yearly guy’s trip spot!

Furnace didn’t work on first or last day (only worked the second day). Expected me to drag a space heater around with me I guess. Will not be booking with you again.

Property was great. We had difficulty with the breaker turning off twice after we arrived. However, with assistance from property manager, we were able to turn it back on. The weather didn’t cooperate, but that is typical for Oregon coast in winter. We had a wonderful time with family.

We had a great time staying here.. Very quiet neighborhood with a great view of the ocean. Faucet in the kitchen sink needs help but everything about the house was great. Lots of games and puzzles too.

The view was amazing. Beds very comfortable. There was an issue with the furnace. But they sent a maintenance man over and resolved the problem. House very nice and clean. Deer daily passing by. Would like to go back there next year!

Great location

The house was great. The kitchen was lovely and fully stocked, there was a massive dining table and tons of seating for myself and three friends. The only issue we encountered was the shower door on the main level bathroom wouldn’t move, and there were some nail heads sticking up on the outside deck, but other than that, it was really lovely. The view was amazing. Access was easy. We would definitely stay again.

Warm cozy home

This house has incredible views and pretty much all the amenities you could want. Very clean and nicely decorated. Would definitely like to come back!

Loved this property--it's gorgeous view from the deck and the central location allowed us to explore the coast north and south with ease. The expansive windows ensured plenty of sunlight and feeling of openness throughout.

The railing on the front steps should be repaired. Some boards on the deck should probably be replaced

The house was roomy but a lot of stairs . Was listed as stocked kitchen yet no pepper or Pam. Dining room was very large but very sticky all over as well as benches . Clothing stuck to the seat . Maybe cleaning supply used . Only smart TV . Loose railing outside stairs .

Enjoyed our stay. Beautiful view of the ocean from the deck and inside the house! Would have liked more outdoor seating, as well as some beach chairs.

A very comfortable place with plenty of room for everyone. Close to beach, groceries, and restaurants. The sunsets are amazing from the deck!
