Ocean view beach house, family and pet-friendly

A great place to stay near the beach (3 min walk) with plenty of room and amenities and a responsive host. I would recommend it for any family stay at Emerald Isle.

We vacation in EI area every year, this was the first time we used VRBO. Our host was great with communication. After explaining how stressed I was because we would have two dogs with us instead of just one his reply was very comforting saying there’s no reason to be stressed, this is vacation, and that I paid the pet fee, so it doesn’t matter if we had one or two dogs with us. This house was spotless! In the past we have spent a ton of money with real estate rental companies for a vacation house and IDK who they had cleaning for them, but they need to get this host’s cleaning group’s number! Hats off! All the beds were made when we arrived. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was of a nice quality. The kitchen was stocked with every kind of dish you might need. The cabinets were all labeled, which was very helpful. The kitchen, bathrooms and laundry all had soaps/detergents available (if needed), and so did the outdoor shower. The trek to the beach was convenient. The storage area had plenty of beach chairs and things to play with. There was plenty of room for our three vehicles to park in the car port.This house gave nothing but positive vibes and helped make our vacation great! We will consider staying here again.

Great place to stay in Emerald Island. Well equipped and comfortable. 7 adults and baby had a wonderful time!

Nice, clean property in a good location. Struggled some to get the TV operable but the owner was very helpful and made it right.

All you need for a great beach trip. Didn’t need to go out for anything other than groceries. Very clean, lots of space and so close to the beach!

Great location. Too many kitchen utensils and house hold extras to list. View of ocean from top deck (accessible thru bedroom) is unobstructed. Plenty of parking space. Would stay here again.

House is in an ideal location. Quiet neighborhood and easy access to beach. Many restaurants in surrounding area. The house was fully stocked with everything you might need. Communication with owner was excellent. He responded quickly to any question i had.

Greg’s beach house was as advertised, clean and nicely decorated with beach vibes decor. The house is tucked into a cul-de-sac with abundant trees and shrubbery that give the home privacy. We arrived a little early and Greg replied immediately to a text with the code to the house for early entry. The home was comfortable and well appointed. He offers far more creature comforts than most other places we have stayed. Though it was only for a short visit, we truly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hospitality. Would recommend staying here to anyone looking for a beach vacation.

The unit was clean and as advertised. Greg was a great host. All of his information was accurate. He responded quickly to any questions. We will stay there again.

Great fully equipped beachy property. The rooms were nice and spacious for 7 of us. The host was quick to respond to inquiries. Would rent again.

Great house for a family friendly beach trip. Was concerned about the duplex but we could not hear any activities next door. A few very minor things when we arrived, but the owner was extremely responsive in resolving them.

Great place and location. Everything you need. Only complaint is it’s not advertised as a duplex. Wasn’t a problem but it should say that It was a great week spent with family at a beautiful location. Lots of shells and good access to beach

For the price we were able to pay for this pre-season week it was perfect! Very easy access to the beach, house comes equipped with everything you need for your stay and is comfy and beach feeling!

Everything was great except for a few bugs. Owner was notified and was taking care of it. House was in a great location real close to the beach.

Girls trip at the end of spring break with moms and teens -- plenty of space, super comfortable, clean with extras like trash bags, toilet paper and body wash provided! A storage closet full of beach necessities like chairs, towels, coolers, and even a wagon! Kitchen is well stocked and host was super good about answering questions before the trip to help me prepare. Also loved that the house was pet friendly, since it is so hard to find a nicely furnished, clean house that allows dogs.Great area for walking and beach access is super close. We will definitely consider staying next time

We rented Greg's place for a bike race and it was perfect.
