Stayed Apr 6, 2026We truly wanted to love this house. Sadly, upon arrival, there were some immediate negatives. Although the description stated there were three parking spots, this was simply not feasible given the shared driveway with four other homes. We only had one vehicle and could park parallel along the back of the house, which worked out for our neighbours, who had to use part of the other parking spot. If two vehicles had been parked side-by-side, there would be no safe way to open the car doors. Furthermore, it was quite the daily challenge to navigate exiting the driveway in reverse and miss the rock ledge. The landscape had been poorly maintained with multiple weeds. Upon entering the house, the layout was charming; however, the carpet had multiple stains and evidence of dog damage from toenails (I am thankful this house is dog-friendly, as we brought our dog. We always get him groomed before renting a home to safeguard from any damage on our part). The Xbox required a subscription, which should have been explicitly stated rather than giving the impression that a game console was accessible to visitors. The community pool was closed and most likely seasonal, which is fine, but the photo and description should have stated this. Finally, the hot tub did not provide much privacy from people and the fire pit was directly exposed to the wind (the community fire pit was lovely). On a positive note, the house was a short walk to the beach and well-stocked with towels and kitchen needs.

Stayed Jul 25, 2025We take a yearly family get together to the coast and this has been our favorite stay! The place was beautiful with lovely views. Everything was clean, kitchen had everything you need, and beds were comfy. Beach, community pool, playground was walkable. Thank you Meredith Lodging. We made some great memories and hope to come back next summer!
