Ocean & Sound Views - Dog Friendly - 3BR/2Bath-3 min walk to beach.

This is a repeat vrbo home for our family and we wouldn’t go anywhere else in Waves! Every time we arrive, the house is immaculate, and everything has been cleaned and you can tell that the owners have been making continued improvements over the years. The kitchen is perfect for people who like to cook and has every tool you can imagine. There’s both a Keurig maker and an original coffee pot machine so you can choose either or both. There are plenty of dishes and silverware and all the appliances are the exact same appliances that we have in our own home so we always feel like it’s our home away from home. The hot tub on the deck is our favorite part after a long day at the beach and the enclosed top deck is beautiful for in the morning after you wake up. The lower deck is perfect for dogs and overall the entire property is what we consider as a perfect beach house.

We enjoyed our time at Seas the Day very much. We liked being able to walk to the beach and to the Bay. The kitchen was stocked well enough for us to do our own cooking. We used the recommendation to eat at Good Winds to celebrate the 60th birthday of one of the group. It was very good food. We didn't spend a lot of time in the house because we roamed the island from Corolla to Ocracoke, but when we were there, we put 3 3/4 puzzles together (the last one had to be packed in the box unfinished) and read several books. Several of the group enjoyed the hot tub every evening.

Everything you need was there it was clean and welcoming

We stay on Hatteras Island once or twice every year. This house is the best stocked house of any we have stayed in. Every kitchen appliance, pots/pans, utensils, and tableware you could hope for. Nice outdoor furniture. Nice finishings on the interior. All TVs work and have YouTube TV already signed in. Lots of space in the living room. Large dining room. Easy access to the soundside or ocean. Walk to Dairy Queen if you want. The campground next door was surprisingly quiet, even though it was packed on Labor Day weekend. Would definitely stay in this house again.

Overall, we had a wonderdul stay despite the daily rain showers! House has a great inventory of pots, pans and dishes if you love to cook while staying at the beach like we do. House was clean and yard well kept and easy walk to the beach or to Route 12. Thank you for sharing your beach house with us again this year!! Appreciate your generosity and kindness!

The house was great and very well stocked with everything we needed. Great restaurants nearby and in Avon! Beach was only a 4 minute walk and not crowded at all. Hot tub was awesome for evening relaxing! The host gave us a ton of information for dining and things to do and was very communicative!

We all fully enjoyed our stay. Check-in was easy. The house was clean and provided basics, linens, set of towels for each guest. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. The beds were comfortable able and each bedroom had ceiling fans. The two decks were nice. Especially the top deck which provided view of ocean. It was a short walk to beach. The recommendations for places to eat and shop were very helpful. All said Seas the Day was a perfect place to stay.

This is the third year we have stayed in this home. We appreciated some of the upgrades such as new kitchen island cart, bath towels and a 50 gift card to Lisa's pizza! The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable. The a/c works great. The kitchen table is large enough for our family to eat together. The only thing we don't like is the open and wide railing on the staircase (especially going up/down the steps) and the sofa is a little grungy. We bring king size sheets to cover it, so that helps. We plan to return again next year!

We had a wonderful vacation at Seas the Day. Excellent communication regarding check in procedure from the owners well in advance of our arrival, as well as lots of restaurant and activity recommendations which we greatly appreciated.
