Ocean side home steps from sand dog friendly

Just so anyone knows that stays here, do NOT click the furthest left burner on the stove to the off position because it will gas fumes out for god knows how long. THIS PLACE DOES NOT HAVE A CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTOR.I had my mom, husband, brother, and 2 kids with me. My family and i got to this house and the second we stepped in, it smelt like a propane tank was left on. We opened all of the windows and doors while we unpacked for TWO hours until my mom that is auto immune compromised started having chest pains like her lung was gonna explode.My brother ended up realizing the burner being completely missaligned but the last renters im assuming didn't know this so when they left and turned all the burners to the off position, it consistently let out gas, with a glass covered lit pilot in the fire place maybe 10 feet away from each other.I messaged them about everything, they said to call fire rescue and one of THEIR team members would come there to follow up. Fire department came, confirmed the leak and cleared it after we stood outside for an hour in 50 degree coastal weather which would have great if it was optional but we couldn't leave while waiting for Fire Rescue. Not once did anyone from the renters come out to check on anything.This is rented out by Casago, a huge vacation planning company using VRBO for sales. All their emails back to me were out generated and in the end, after potentially killing my family, i got 1/4 of my stay refunded..

Perfect location. Roomy. Perfect for families. Quiet. Relaxing. Beach is a short walk. Beaches are mostly empty except for occasional walkers.

Beautiful beach house with plenty of room for everyone. The walk to the beach was easy and the Widow’s Walk on the roof was a great place to watch the sunset.

Host was very welcoming. Home was beautiful and comfortable.

Nice place. We ultimately left a day early due to really bad weather. But we explored the beaches and the tillamook creamery! Super nice location along the shore line.

Such a great house! We had 5 people staying here ranging in age from 5 to 65. It was bigger than I realized and we all agreed would we stay again. There are 2 public access spots to get to the beach in less than 5 mins of a walk. My only suggestion would be to utilize the deck spaces more with a larger outdoor table and maybe some comfy lounge chairs or outdoor couch for watching the sunset. Thanks!

Anyone staying here needs to be ok with stairs, but if you are it is a wonderful location and the roof top deck is fantastic.

Great location only steps to the beach. Kids loved running around the deck in the sunshine. Great amount of space. Would definitely recommend.

Pictures on website showed beach. House is one block back with beautiful floor to ceiling picture windows...looking out on houses across the street, not the beach. Gas fireplace did not work when we arrived and was not fixed until just before we left.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a beautiful home with a very short walk to the beach. The home had all the amenities.

Great house and location, quiet neighborhood, but listing was not entirely accurate. Fireplace not working, and no fire pit. DVD library was gone. Third floor balcony only had one chair and I don't feel safe dragging another one up there. Sheets and towels are stained and getting old. House needs a good deep clean. Oven and kitchen need cleaning. Shower curtains need to be replaced. Toilet seat in master bath needs to be replaced. Don't feel like I got my money's worth here.

This place is amazing !!!! Made me consider move to that area

Wonderful house for our winter beach retreat. My only complaint was the preset thermostat. I understand why owners feel a need to do this, but I did not appreciate waking up to a house that was 55 degrees! (The basement room was especially cold). You would have to be up at 7:30 to override those settings and I do not vacation with the plan to rise that early. Please reconsider those settings, especially for the winter months! Otherwise, a beautiful home, well cared for, with everything you needed. I will definitely consider using this home again - maybe in the warmer months!

It was beautiful, clean and comfortable. We did have challenges when power went out for 12 hours, but that was due to weather conditions and not because of issues with the rental. We just went to neighboring town to eat and explore and came back to the house when power was restored. We actually had a lot of fun exploring the beach during the high winds - the weather was warm enough to enjoy our time outside, even in the rain. We look forward to doing it again.

It was a great place, very close to the beach. My family had so much fun!

Plenty of room for the 6 of us long time girlfriends. All of us 70 plus. Quiet neighborhood. Would recommend it to others.

great place for families or multiple couples. plenty of room to spread out.
