Ocean Hibiscus Retreat – For 8

Condo was great!Outdoor areas are in major need of attention.

Difficult to find the exact unit. Directions should have indicated the parking identifiers more clearly with the alpha prefix not just the room number.Unit was clean except for broken glass found in the hallway.Linens and towels in ample supply. Kitchen was well equipped.Beach was a LONG walk but enjoyed. Unit provided a nice assortment of beach toys and chairs. There was some difficulty accessing the beach but another guest had a code that worked. Site map for beach and pool would have been very helpful.Overall a good experience with just a few hiccups.

This is our 3rd time staying at this complex and it is always nice, but this time it needed some attention. The hot tubs were in need of cleaning and the boardwalk to the beach was buried in the sand. The unit was clean and had all the necessities. It was good for the price. The 2nd bedroom in the main unit is really only suitable for kids as it had no storage space at all, is very small, and you have to walk through that room to access the attached studio unit. You can also get to the studio from a door in the hallway, but the door from the interior doesn't lock from the studio side. My wife and I slept on the studio side since i was the only room that had a king size bed. We didn't like that the door in betwwen the units could not be looked from our side and the bed was very firm.Overall, good for a family on a budget, but not great for group of adults.

Great location and perfect for a big family

Condo was beautiful and clean with a great layout for two families. Everything we needed was included. Communication regarding building number and correct gate code could have been better. Grounds need care. A balcony picture with a view of the beach gate was included in original pictures which was very deceiving as it was quite a haul to the beach, especially with small children. We would not have selected this unit had we know prior to making reservation. Overall it was a good value for the price.

Pros and Cons Review! We visited late July. The condo was clean and inviting. The host was responsive and accomodating. The beach is past the pools and down a boardwalk. The pools are great with plenty of chairs and areas of sun and shade.The con for us was the layout. The description does explain that there is a seperate suite with its own entrance. But what we didn't realise was in order to get into the main condo we either had to walk through a bedroom or go into the hall and come in through the other door.The area that was the bedroom was essentially a pass through. And they could lock their doors but on our side there was not a lock (or a deadbolt on the hallway door) so the suite doesn't really have the sense of privacy as the exterior door can be opened by anyone in the condo as the codes to the doors are the same. Just something to be aware of depending on who you are traveling with.

Some of the kitchen appliances were not clean. Some areas of the resort were in disrepair. Overall though, the unit itself fulfilled our needs and we had an enjoyable stay.

Great area nice place clean

We had a great stay! The condo was clean, easy to get into, quiet and unproblematic. I loved the setup of the unit. We were able to accommodate our teenagers, younger children and ourselves without being on top of each other all of the time. The complex was easy to get in and out of. We didn’t spend much time there, as we had a short stay, so I can’t speak much as to the amenities, but we had a wonderful time and would definitely go back.

The Ocean Hibiscus retreat is the perfect place to sit back and relax. It has plenty of space for a large family. I appreciated the amount of clean towels, extra beach towels, Keurig machine, and beach wagon available. The aesthetic is very pleasing and comfortable.

We were looking for a great spot for our family of five to enjoy Easter Weekend and Ocean Hibiscus Retreat - for 8 did not disappoint! The layout allowed for plenty of space when we wanted time together while allowing our kids (22, 20, 17) to enjoy their own space as well. The beach was just a short walk, and everything we needed was there (seven chairs, a beach blanket, two boogie boards, a few sand toys, and a wagon for transport!)! The communication from the rental company was superb...they checked on us via message, were quick to respond to my questions about availability of a grill (there are several!) and local recommendations! This is certainly where we'll stay each time we return to the area!

Condo interior was nicely decorated, spacious, and clean. Unit is near beach. No elevator, needs better exterior lighting.

This property was so wonderful! From the large, modern kitchen to the beautifully decorated bedrooms to the two balconies and beach access, this property exceeded our expectations. It was a great place to spend Christmas this year!
