This was such a great place to stay! They had snorkeling supplies, boogie boards, bikes and lots of other choices that made it extra special. The owner let us stay in the house until our plane flew out instead of having us be gone by 11, without charging us, which was so nice. And the beaches across the street and on that road were very popular and fun! It was definitely a great experience with lots of great amenities!

Every detail was perfect The property is amazing, and the views are mesmerizing. The owner was quick to answer our questions, and the overall experience was exceptional. We’ve already booked with them again for next season, couldn’t be happier.Aloha

My family and I really enjoyed this property! The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of fans for added comfort. Richard was a excellent and receptive host. Our favorite things about this house is of course the location! We swam and snorkeled and got to see plenty of wildlife including sea turtles! I would happily stay here again!

Great position, accommmodated 9 of us ranging from 3 to 72 yrs really well. House is a little rumpty but we loved finishing our active days with pre dinner drinks at the pools over the road and cooling off with an easy dip in one of the many pools. Richard was a really helpful and easy to contact host. Well equiped kitchen.

11 people from 5 different households stayed in this house - everyone had a room, except my son slept on the convertible couch, and we had good space for visiting in the mornings and evenings. The house had plenty of towels including beach towels and all teh necessities that we needed to enjoy the beach and other places that we explored. The host sent great materials ahead of time and communicated quickly during our stay.

Wonderful location! Across the street from a great snorkel beach and beautiful lagoons, close to Hilo.House is old which we liked, BUT is in extreme need of maintenance, fresh paint and deep cleaning.House has NO A/C!!! This would not have been a problem, but the screens were broken, filthy, torn and hanging loose. Many of the shades were broken or completely missing, especially on the hot west side. The fans were inadequate. Two windows would not slide. The house’s VRBO posting description should clearly state that there is NO A/C.We were a family of 8 in a house that sleeps 12. We were charged 500 extra and told this occurs when more than 4 people stay. This policy should be clearly stated in the VRBO posting. We were comfortable and had fun, and appreciate being given an early check in.

If you are looking for super fancy, this might not be what you want. For my family, however it was perfect. Plenty of room, the things we needed in the kitchen and with kids we were so glad for washer and dryer. Exactly what you would expect from a beach house. Best things...the view and the location. Would book again.

The house is not secure due to screens, windows, kitchen door slats, and main door not being securely tight, sealed or in lockable condition in some cases. We had to catch lizards and take them outside. The light fixtures, furniture and windows were dirty. Our bedroom screen was held by duct tape. The kitchen was stocked nicely, bathrooms were good, beds were comfy and the location was great. The washer was so loud we had put in laundry then go. For the amount of money charged to us we feel there should be updates. We also did not know the lower level of the house had a separate entry. I do have pictures of you are interested. Also, the bikes had flat tires with unusable air pumps.

We had a family stay at the home with one infant. The house was in a great location to the beaches and we could enjoy the yard out front or cross the road and hang in the water. The house is older, so very warm and was hard to keep cool with the fans with so much sunlight. But was beautiful. Lots of bugs outside, so wear bug spray!
