Stayed Nov 26, 2025Unit was clean and bright. Beds were comfy. Kitchen was well stocked. TV worked perfectly. Only negative was that there really wasn’t beach access from the site. There was a steep sand cliff to get down to the beach. But the dunes were lovely. It was kind of a “Summer of 42” experience.

Stayed Mar 20, 2025This house was overall an amazing place to stay. It had great views — my wife and I both admitted we wouldn’t mind doing the dishes there every day with the view from the sink — and was very easy to get to. The kitchen was exceptionally spacious, as were the living room, bedrooms, and bathrooms. My only two complaints/suggestions were that 1: there was no garage access — we arrived in the middle of a rainstorm (a common occurrence on the Oregon coast!) and had to carry our luggage upstairs to the house completely exposed to the elements with our three children (ages 6 months to 8 years) when the garage would have allowed us to simply go straight up the internal stairs to the house; 2 — this is knit-picking, but when the advertisement/description says fully stocked kitchen, I would expect at least a fully stocked spice cabinet and more than just a can of spray olive oil. But, in terms of hardware, it was absolutely fully stocked.

Stayed Oct 12, 2024We treated our 52-year-old son to a return to Waldport where he had lived for a short time more than twenty years ago. He has camped there many times since and has a passion for crabbing at the City Dock. He caught eleven keepers during our three-day stay! We chose this beach-front vacation retreat home for its convenience (it's only a 5–10-minute drive to downtown Waldport and the dock!) and its amenities which fit our respective lifestyles perfectly. Great views west (sand-dunes/the ocean/sunsets) with outstanding views east (Alsea Bay/Alsea Bay Bridge/ coastal mountain range during the day/distant city lights at night). Very nicely furnished; very peaceful and quiet!

Stayed Sep 5, 2024This is our second time staying at this home. It's the perfect place for us. The location is good, it's central so you can easily get to all the coastal towns North and South. Waldport is big enough to have a good size grocery store and several restaurants if you want to stay close. It's right on the beach and it's a short walk through the sand dunes to the ocean. There 2 bedrooms and 2 baths with one being a master and the other being a Jack and Jill bathroom. We are two couples who traveled together frequently, having the Jack and Jill bath with the other couple having their own bathroom in the master effectively makes this a home with two master bedrooms. Everything was comfortable and functional, kitchen was well stocked. Highly recommended.

Stayed Jul 12, 2024The home was clean and had plenty of supplies. It was a very short walk to the beach, pretty much in the backyard. The logistics of the house worked well for 2 couples and a child. The fireplace had a loose gasket, so it wouldn’t be safe to use.
