We had a wonderful girls trip! This house had absolutely everything we needed. It has a very nostalgic feel and is roomy enough for 9. The pool was definitely a plus! We hope to return again very soon.

This was the absolute most perfect beach house!!!!! The pictures do not do justice! It is a beach sanctuary.. sooooo much space !!! It’s an adorable beach cottage!!!! The seller was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of ! When we vacation I love to eat out but being in this house you don’t want to leave !!! The grill made it perfect and covered outdoor dining area and the pool and hottub was and oasis!!

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our family! Although the weather wasn’t ideal beach weather we hardly noticed!! The hot tub and pool kept the grandchildren entertained and the closeness to the ocean made beach walks and shelling perfect!! My husband and I enjoyed the master suite and ocean view!! We all loved the quaintness of the house!! We would definitely rent again!

Amazing views, cozy cottage, friendly host

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was a blend of classic beach vibes mixed with modern amenities. The hot tub and pool were well kept and the floor layout was perfect for gathering to enjoy meals and watch ball games in the evenings. The spacious deck was also very accommodating for those who wanted to sit in the sun as well as those who preferred the shade. We would visit again and again!

Mermaid is Paradise, between the pool, ocean and hot tub it made a little get away into a dream. Walking distance to Great food, unbelievable views! We will definitely be coming back to Mermaid !

Lovely beach front property! We stayed here for a long weekend and had the best time. The home is the perfect beach cottage with tons of space to spread out and enjoy vacation. Our family enjoyed to hot tub, pool and fun game room. Winter sunsets are amazing-we spotted dolphins sitting on the back deck and enjoyed the walkability to the circle. Thank you to the fantastic host Stefan for being super responsive. We will be back to enjoy this sea side gem for again in the future!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The rental was beautifully decorated with so much character — it truly felt like a home, not just a place to stay. The owner was wonderful to work with: responsive, kind, and genuinely cared about our experience. Everything was thoughtfully done, and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We will absolutely be returning.

House was very clean. Perfect set up. Love the outside area with the fence backyard. Nice landscaping. Beautiful oceanfront view.

Stephan was most attentive and everything was so awesome- from the Game room (that turned all of us adults into kids again) to the heated pool& hot tub!

The location of the property was perfect. The heated pool and hot tub were amazing. The house is a little smaller than expected but still worked for our needs

Beautiful house and spot

The house had just been cleaned very well when we arrived. The pool and hot tub were enjoyed by every one of all ages. The views were spectacular and beach access couldn’t have been better! We did have an issue with the basement area, but the host immediately responded and had a maintenance person come in. The house is very spacious and decorated beautifully. Definitely enjoyed the outdoor grill!

We loved having a place with a private pool and hot tub. But we here were quite a few negatives. There were many cockroaches outside and a handful inside that we would see come out at night. Overall the house looked clean but there were definitely areas around that could use a much deeper clean.The house was very old, so expect older furniture (wardrobes instead of dressers), no closets and not many outlets. The owner was great and let us know that the outdoor shower had the best water pressure, but the outdoor shower can be viewed from the upper balcony space. The walk to the beach was nice but the sand has definitely piled up, so it was longer and harder than we would’ve liked. We were vacationing with 10 adults and 6 children aged 2 and under, so the walk of course was harder with a stroller/wagon. The deck area and pool space was gorgeous, definitely the best part of the property, but it wasn’t the safest with the young toddlers we had as they could easily fall into the pool. So this house was not a great space for young children.

We absolutely loved our stay! Beautiful home with plenty of room and right on the beach. We can’t wait to book again!

The entire family loved the house, the location and of course the beach. A perfect vacation that will probably be repeated.

We had a wonderful stay. We especially enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and the covered deck was also a plus. The communication with the host for a minor issue was easy and he got back to us fast. The issue was solved quickly and we enjoyed the rest of our stay.

This is an older, partially updated home in a great location. Extremely easy access to the beach. Great backyard patio/pool area with plenty of seating. Two decks with awesome ocean views. Plenty of room for our group of 9 to spread out. Restaurants and shopping are within walking distance. Had a great week with family!

Great location and plenty of space for our group of seven. Pool, hot tub, gas grill and really nice deck/back yard were very convenient. Beach just steps away. No definite plans at this time but definitely plan on coming back in the future.

Short trip for golf tournament but our foursome decided to all bring our families and this place worked perfect for that.

We loved the location of this house. Very convenient to a ton of shops and restaurants, not to mention the beach. The pool and hot tub were a huge bonus. The deck off the master suite was also heaven especially in the mornings. The kids loved having a hang out room seperate from the rest of the house. We had one small issue and Stefan was extremely responsive and helpful in getting it resolved. Definitely would recommend.

We had an amazing vacation with family and friends at this beachfront property in Atlantic Beach, NC. Our group of 8 adults and 8 kids (aged 4-12) had a wonderful time. The property is perfectly located right on the beach, offering breathtaking ocean views. The hot tub was a highlight, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Host Stefan was exceptional, ensuring our stay was comfortable and hassle-free. He even arranged for someone to check on comforters on Christmas Eve and followed up to ensure everything was in order. We can’t wait to return in the summer!

This was the prefect place to sneak away to. The location was great! Spent last night in the hot tub looking at the beach (what more could you want).
