Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed here with three generations (70, 65, 40, 35, and three small children 1-6) and had a great vacation. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, knives, a rolling pin, toaster oven, electric range, and filtered coffee pot. The unit has an outdoor shower and plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, even a shovel and some toys. It was only a 90-second walk down the ramp to the beach. The only problem from our perspective was that it's not a guarded beach, and it's part of the Inlet park, so there were cars driving on the beach and people fishing every day. Not ideal when you're staying with children, having to worry about them getting snagged by fish hooks. Even I (healthy 35 year old male) was uncomfortable out in the surf on rough days (3 of our 7) with no lifeguard. We would definitely recommend the home to other families and other guests, but only those who are aware of the difference between the unguarded beach, and the other areas in Bethany and South Bethany that do have lifeguards, and no cars or fishing during the day.
