Wonderful stay at the perfect spot on the waterfront to watch the waves

Amazing views from the porches and decks, easy access to the beach and boardwalk. Bedrooms down stairs were small but the home’s outside porches made up for it.

The location of the house is magnificent! However, the house itself is poorly furnished, uncomfortable and cramped with mostly rickety and worn furniture that wasn't comfortable. Perhaps the photos should not have been taken with a wide-angle lens so I could have gotten a better idea of the actual spaces. First floor bedrooms were small and crammed full of furniture. Parts of the house were dirty, the owner asks for too much to be done at checkout. When I reviewed the breakdown of fees, I thought they were excessive. Separate high cleaning fee and I had to make the beds before I left. Be aware that there is a high fee to use a credit card for the deposit. Check-in is not until after 4 pm, with firm instructions not to show up any earlier, and if the cleaning crew is running late you may not be able to check in until 6 pm. However, do not check out one minute past 10 am.

Moondock is probably the best waterfront vacation rental in Rehoboth. Perfect view of the beach and waves. Right at the north end of the Boardwalk. An easy walk to the restaurants in town.

We had a wonderful stay in Rehoboth. This home was just as gorgeous and perfectly located as the listing indicated. We spent more time outside on the decks than we did inside. The kitchen was well stocked with more than the basics needed for a group of avid home cooks. I would rent this property again in a heartbeat.

The location of the property is awesome! And the views from the screened in porch can’t be beat. The rooms are definitely smaller in real life than what you see in the pictures. As others mentioned, there is a strong cat urine smell in the downstairs hall. The owners should consider replacing the flooring.

Celebrated my 73rd birthday with my entire family and we all loved the house and ocean view. Highly recommend..

The house was nice, and a perfect location in Rehoboth. Beautiful views, close enough to the boardwalk and far enough from the crowded sections. We were able to walk to all restaurants and bars. Loved riding our bikes on the beautiful trails up to Lewes. The best part of the house was the screened in porch where we spent a lot of our time as a group. We all felt the house needed a more thorough cleaning. I found myself washing down walls and door frames when I arrived. There is also a lingering odor on the first floor at the bottom of the staircase, despite mopping and frebreezing multiple times. It is listed as sleeping 12 people and that is very generous. The bunk bed room is very tight and the pull out couch on the 2nd floor should not have been converted as another sleeping area because it takes away from the family room, which was small. All in all the house served its purpose and we all had a memorable vacation
