Ocean Front in Bradley Beach Close to Asbury, Ocean Grove,Avon

Property is not well maintained and the cleaning crew left dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Dishes in the dish rack and wet laundry in the laundry machine. The floors were not swept and generally the property felt very run down with poor furnishings no attention to detail. There was a TV in the master bedroom that was not only not plugged in but did not have access to power.

The location absolutely cannot be beat, and the owner was very friendly and easy to contact. Overall a wonderful trip! I definitely would stay again

The location was perfect. It was wonderful being so close to the beach with access to the boardwalk and a short walk to Asbury Park. The Bradley Beach is very nice. We also enjoyed spending time on the upper deck of the home with the ocean view.I was a bit disappointed in the house itself. The front porch furniture had faded plastic chairs, stained and torn cushions and old floor mats. The living room, dining room and bedrooms were fine but I found the kitchen unacceptable. Most of the pots and pans were unusable, there were not enough glasses, there was only a Keurig coffee maker and the drawers and cabinets were disorganized with items just thrown in. There was no foil, plastic wrap, storage bags or containers and no kitchen towels or dish cloths. I was also not happy with the lack of cleanliness in the entire house. The refrigerator still had items from previous renters and was not cleaned, the steps were not vacuumed and I really believe that the floors were not mopped as our feet were dirty from walking on them. I also confirmed before our visit that beach tags are supplied but never got an answer when I asked how many there would be. When I found only 3 tags I contacted the owner who replied that only 2 are provided and 1 must have been left by a previous renter. I believe that if you advertise that your home can accommodate 7 people, 7 beach tags should be provided. If some of these issues would be addressed the home would be a very nice rental.

Rode my motorcycle from Seaside, Oregon, more than 4200 miles, to complete my coast to coast ride. The place was spacious, clean, and cool. Great location and awesome deck. Wohld do agian.

This is a perfect location. Sunrises from the upper deck were spectacular. The house was clean and kitchen, linens, etc. were well stocked. Maurice was a great host and communicated with us promptly and often to ensure we were enjoying our stay. We look forward to our next visit.

Wonderful beach house located oceanfront. Perfect for small families. Loved the outdoor second floor deck to watch sunrises over the ocean and to see and hear crashing waves in evening. Will likely return.

Wonderful location across from the boardwalk and ocean! We enjoyed morning coffee on the front porch and evening cocktails on the upstairs porch overlooking the ocean. It was only steps from the beach. Maurice is a very responsive host. But the place needs some serious updates. For example, the grill is barely usable and the vertical blinds do not work. Bathrooms are mostly clean but quite small and outdated.

Cannot beat the location of this house--right across from the beach! Unlike the previous reviewer, we had no issues with the porch furniture or the cleanliness of the house. House had everything we need and was very comfortable for three friends--would reccomend!

The property is right on the ocean as listed, but the pictures show a cozy front porch and beautiful flower beds out front. 4 plastic chairs and gravel in the beds is what it really is. The cleaning fee was excessive due to the fact that when we arrived, there were dirty dried foot prints in the front bedroom on the floor, items under furniture when we had to move a small dresser over, and hair in the bathroom tub and floors. Many broken or non-functional blinds and access to the top floor balcony was prohibitive due to said non-functional blinds. We would have been happier with these having been updated and the cleanliness having matched the cleaning fee.
