Host was responsive, amenities were great.

The host was welcoming, gave good instructions. The place was very clean, had wonderful ocean views, albeit the weather was stormy (which was a nice touch). The rooms were ample and well furnished. We actually enjoyed the wide variety of fish oriented decor/art a lot. Also, really enjoyed the family pictures and scenery. Would definitely go back again, if the situation works out. We also like Westport a lot.

The host doesn’t say the master suite is an extra charge in the initial ad. She points it out afterward when it is too late for a refund. It is hidden in the small print. Without the master suite the place would have been really uncomfortable. 1 full bath for 5 people( 1/2 bath upstairs also) All five of us would have been sleeping in two rooms, some adults on bunk beds. There are clothes in the drawers, jackets in the pegs, food like cheese in the fridge. Bathroom counters full of personal items. We felt like intruders instead of guests. And I am allergic to fleas but the owner has inside dogs . So that was also misrepresented .

Our stay here was wonderful. Looking around the place I total felt like a family member staying there. The only thing we had trouble figuring out was the heat/ac unit was difficult to figure out, but it wasn't bad enough to ruin our trip. My daughter last minute decided to bring her baby and I loved the open floor plan it made it very easy to set up the pack and play for him. We had a little deer family come and visit us daily and the sunsets were absolutely gorgeous. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

Pros were the amazing views and access to the beach. We saw bald eagles, seals, crabbing boats, and dolphins (or maybe porpoise). Our group really enjoyed the beach and the hot tub. We walked to the brewery and enjoyed the marina area. The house was great, comfortable and clean. Cons were; to list this property as 4 bedroom is not very accurate. There are two bedrooms, a third is available for an extra fee. The fourth is a hide-a-bed in the laundry room with a very thin mattress that I doubt that any adult could get comfortable on. But the thing that everyone in group had a problem with was how much space was taken up with the owners personal stuff. There were jackets on almost all the hooks, shoes on the racks, clothes in the dressers, lots of stuff taking up space in the pantry. Personal pictures were everywh

The house was a great size for a big group, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. However, the house was not clean when we arrived, there was a fire alarm on the verge of dying that my husband and disabled father-in-law had to find a ladder to take down, the pics don’t show a great overall layout of the house so all the stairs were a little difficult for my disabled father-in-law and the listing isn’t clear about the master suite. We thought that once we confirmed our booking with 10 people that that included the master suite considering the size of the group. Instead they wanted us to pay extra for it on top of the rental amount. I will say, expecting someone to sleep on the pullout couch in the laundry room that was falling apart ain’t it. We were also thrown off by the amount of personal hygiene stuff left in the showers, and the medications in the nightstand in the master that small children have access to. The bedding wasn’t washed and had stains, the towels for guests for showering had holes and the hot tub was full of sand when we arrived. The maintenance of the house and cleanliness could be better, but we still made the best of our stay with the view we got and exceptionally easy access to the beach.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful waterfront home! The house was clean, well-equipped, and perfect for our family reunion of three siblings and our kids. The island cooktop was a highlight—it made cooking and conversation easy and enjoyable. The views from the kitchen and living room were absolutely stunning and added to the peaceful atmosphere. The beach was easy to access from the back of the house. We also really appreciated the outdoor setup: crab pots, an outdoor cooker, and a fish cleaning station made it easy to enjoy the full coastal experience. One important note—adding the extra master suite was definitely worth it. Having that second shower from the master suite made things much smoother for our group.Also, communication with the hosts was generally good, but I found Gail especially helpful. All in all, this was a fantastic place to reconnect, relax, and enjoy the water. Highly recommend!

This is an amazing, clean, comfortable home, with a wonderful location on the beach. Great amenities, space and views are spectacular. The downstairs portion of the home has 2 actual bedrooms with a third room which is also the laundry room with a pull-out sofa bed. There is 1 full bathroom downstairs, and a 1/2 bath (no shower) upstairs. You can access the 4th bedroom (primary suite) and the additional full bath for an additional 100/night above the listing price on VRBO. All the amenities are lovely, and we had a great time. The walk to the beachfront is lovely and peaceful, but be aware that the vertical drop-off to get on the beach is at least 6-8 feet down on sand, which you had to scramble up and down, which was not possible for our 70yo parents, and would have been challenging with small children....just FYI. The home has a beautiful big open kitchen and living room with comfortable furniture, large porch, amazing hot tub, good Wifi, and quiet, calm beach access. Bedrooms very clean and comfortable, everything worked. Saw deer, whales, bunnies etc... Went to the International Mermaid Museum and winery, ate oysters at Bradys, explored the cool Westport marina, climbed the Lighthouse to see the Fresnel lens, took a hike at Lake Quinault - such a great vacation! Loved it and were happy to pay the additional fee for our family to have extra space and privacy!

We absolutely loved this house and property for our recent family vacation. We came to Westport to go razor clamming and surf perch fishing and this property is set up perfectly for these activities! It has a nice outdoor sink and a large garage to take off boots and rain gear. The beach is just a couple hundred yards from the house, and we enjoyed beach walks throughout our stay. The house is decorated beautifully, and had every amenity we needed. It was arranged in such a nice way that it truly felt as comfortable as if we were at home, and helped us to have one of the most relaxing vacations we’ve ever had. And our hosts were excellent with communication on the property and information on the area. We can’t wait to return!

Lots of accomodations for large parties and the outside sink for fish and crab cleaning is so useful. Slight miscommunication on one of rooms but it was resolved easily

Beautiful home with quick access to beach House was clean and spacious enough for our group of 8 Would recommend to anyone with larger groups Though i will say i was not aware the home ran on propane and the propane happened to be low the whole time until we contacted the owner which was very helpful and helped us through the setup, the jacuzzi took about a full day to warm up but was well worth the wait
