Stayed Jun 7, 2025Where else can you find a 1953 original beach house with an amazing oceanfront view - with 2 bedrooms and allowed to bring my dog??? Very clean - not fancy - well equipped! Kathy Cox was very easy to work with - ! We enjoyed our second visit to Gone Fishing!

Stayed Jun 22, 2024This cottage is a blast from the past! An old style beach house with a huge screened in porch with plenty of rocking chairs and the beach just a stones throw away. While this house may have some age, it has been tastefully updated with the latest appliances and comfortable HVAC system. Best of the old and the new!

Stayed Aug 11, 2023Simple beach accomodations. The view cannot be beat and it's very centrally located. Kathy was easy to work with and they allowed my dogs. I plan to return.

Stayed Aug 3, 2023We needed a getaway and a nice quiet place on the ocean for new memories before the oldest headed to college. we booked 5 days. Kathy was nice and accommodating. Made sure we didn't need anything. We enjoyed our mornings and night on the deck listening to the waves. The place itself is very roomy, lots of living space, storage and closets. Close to many restaurants and shopping. which gave us a wide variety of options where everyone can agree on. We will keep this on our list for future vacations.

Stayed May 25, 2023Kathy was a perfect host! Rainy weekend, but we enjoyed the large porch and ease to the beach when we could enjoy a couple minutes of sunshine. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Clean home. We will be back!
