OCEAN FRONT - 703 S. Boardwalk Rehoboth Beach

We loved practically everything about this property! (Listing said there was a 3rd floor balcony which turned out to be untrue). The remodeled kitchen was a superb setting for our Thanksgiving feast. The landscaping upgrades were terrific. Beach access for kids and dog fit our needs to a tee. And Jimmy the property manager was so proud of his remodeling work, as he should be. Wonderful stay!

We absolutely loved the house and the location. Huge kitchen… Absolutely everything you could possibly need is in the house. The property manager was so friendly and helpful! The rental agent was so communicative.The view from the second bedroom deck was absolutely breathtaking. We loved watching the sunrises from there.The only thing that caught us off guard… And to be clear the listing was completely accurate but we had just assumed at least one of the bedrooms would have been an en suite and it was not. So that was our fault for assuming but it was the only thing that surprised that’s when we arrived. Everything else was perfect or better

The house is in a great location. The view from the second floor balcony is just wonderful. It's lovely to fall asleep to the sound of the surf and to wake up to the sunrise over the Atlantic.The house itself is just okay. The bedrooms are very small, without enough room for a 2nd nightstand and lamp. The bathrooms are also small, with very little room for toiletries on a counter. The house had all kinds of furry dust balls in the kitchen and living room when we arrived, which were apparent when we put down the dogs' water bowl and dog beds. One of the nights we were there, starting at about 2 am, the alarm system in the house kept going off for no reason - thankfully the handyman / property manager was very nice, responsive, and replaced them the next day, as we had had a sleepless night. The furniture cushions in the screen porch are very old and should be replaced. The third floor is on the same air conditioning zone as the second floor, so it gets very warm up there, and there are cables on the windows which prevent them from opening much to cool it off. Although the kitchen is nicely renovated, the island is so large for the room that it is difficult to walk by one another. It is also managed by a realty company, so a lease is required through them, and we had a bad experience dealing with them after we left. For this kind of money, lesson learned, and we have booked a nicer house on the boardwalk with a 10/10 rating for our next stay.
