Ocean and Lake View Home with Private Hot Tub 1 2 Block to Beach Dogs OK

The house is bigger than expected. Pretty nice and cozy, has everything needed for a decent vacation. Could use a bit more thorough cleaning but overall it wasn’t so bad. A good option of games and puzzles for kids to play with. Camping chairs are a huge plus. And our kids loved an actual wood fireplace.

Plentiful amenties, especially cooking utensils to be able to cook pretty much any type of meal. Wide variety of available seasonings. Obviously some of them had been on there for a while. Location was nice and photos of the home and views were accurate. Wifi was fast at about 400mbps, and tvs in each room were functioning as expected.Beds were comfortable and common touch points were clean.The following items were noted to the Vacasa team and they stated they would notify their local team to address the issues.Did want to note that the grill was nonfunctional and was left in a hazardous condition. Some of the control knob markings were worn off, and a few were left open, allowing gas to flow once the propane tank was connected.Also during a particulary stormy night, one of the door frames to the upstairs bathroom began to leak. The Vacasa team requested if we would like to have it fixed during or after our stay and we opted for after.All things considered, would definitely rent again.

Plenty of room. Nice off street parking

Poor communication. No central repository for instructions. A notebook/binder with all instructions for remotes, cleanup, check out would be nice. Instructions were taped to the wall in several parts of house. TV reception was very spotty. The King bed was not at all comfortable. Has a 3 inch foam topper on it which has sagged to create two huge divots where people have slept. Sleeps very “hot”. We arrived to find the hammock and chair already on the deck. We later found a sign requesting they be brought in after use, but since we did not put them out and did not use them, we left them on the deck. Although it may not be a VACASA requirement, providing some coffee to guests is a nice touch. We had to go back out after arriving to get coffee for the following morning. Every available inch of wallspace is covered with “schlock”. Consider paring it back a bit!

Great house with everything you could want for a beach vacation. Easy access to the beach, a lake, town, and the highway.Hot tub with an ocean view, hammock, and grill out on the deck.We really enjoyed our stay!

Very clean & great location. We really enjoyed our stay and even better the owners are pug people! We have a pug and we’re so excited to see that.

Great location!! Loved that we could take our puppy. Only a block from the beach and people were also so nice! Would definitely stay again!

Everything is perfect! Fireplace! Hot tub facing ocean, fully stocked kitchen, even a Insta Pot! Literally do not pass on this property!!

It was the best money I've ever spent. It was an amazing home with great views. I loved all the restaurants in the area; there was not a bad meal in sight. I recommend checking in during the day. as the lighting in the area is a little hard to see at night

View of the lake on the back deck was beautiful. Watchingwaves from the Adirondack chairs on the huge deck, listening to the surf. The house was well stocked and beds comfy. . Thanks for everything.

We enjoyed our stay & the view

Overall this was a nice property and worked well for our family of four. It was a short drive to town and the beach is right around the corner. The neighborhood was relatively quiet and the views are wonderful. Adding some board games/cards for teens or things to do in the evening and nicer cookware would be a plus. Also being able to access the garage from the outdoors also would help reduce the sand/dirt brought in upstairs after a trip to the beach.

Great access to the beach and walking distance to the center of town. The house was not as clean as other rental property we have stayed in, very disappointed. The second bathroom was down stairs in the garage, heavy musty smell. If I had paid more attention to the layout we would not have selected the home for our trip.

The property was clean and well maintained. We loved Rockaway Beach. Its a great location for the area.

Excellent location, clean property, and great views from both the front and back of the house. My boyfriend and I stayed here for an extended weekend, and it was just right for the two of us. The area is very walkable, with easy access to the small town's stores, and a short stroll to the beach or lake. It's also only a short drive to hiking trails, which was convenient, and the hot tub was a nice bonus after our hikes. We had a great stay and would rebook here.
