We had a good stay and the location was great—easy to walk to a few restaurants and the Fresh Market grocery store. The home functioned well, and linens and main surfaces were clean.A couple notes for future guests: there were plug-in air fresheners in the home with a strong scent. We unplugged them, but it took a day or two for the smell to fully dissipate. Also, while the home was generally clean, it could benefit from a deeper clean/refresh (some noticeable dust in places) and an update to the upholstered furniture—particularly the couch and chair cushions, which felt well-worn.Communication was mostly fine, but the management company encouraged us to create an account on a separate platform and noted that check-in instructions would arrive 5 days prior. We ended up needing to follow up and received the instructions 2 days before arrival. Not a dealbreaker, but it did add a bit of stress. (Also, one time I tried replying to an email from the host, it bounced back.)Overall, a good stay in a convenient spot—just a few improvements that would make it even better.

This home was a perfect set up for our family of 4. The home matches the vibe of the neighborhood and makes you feel like an integral part of Oakley. Location location location, you can walk to downtown Oakley in 5 minutes, hop on 71 in 5 minutes, or go to Cinci proper in 15. We will be back to explore even more, great “one tank trip” stay.

The house is cozy, well appointed, and came fully stocked. The rooms are comfortable, although the den furniture is dated and worn. Because of the very narrow stairs to the second level, this house is not ideal for older individuals or families with young kids. My biggest complaint is that, even though we indicated that we would be bringing our dogs when we made the reservation, the property manager claimed not to know and proceeded to charge an additional 120 fee (on top of a 160 clean up charge) after our stay had concluded. Accurate price comparisons between properties are impossible under these circumstances.

We loved the Oakley house for our family vacation. The location was amazing - in a great neighborhood with about a 10 minute drive to both the Zoo and the Newport Aquarium. The house is older, so the floors were squeaky and the doors would get stuck so we had to be careful where we walked when the baby and toddler were sleeping. The hosts were very responsive and kind. The kitchen was not very stocked with dining ware, utensils, etc but we made it work! The house was clean and just as pictured. Would stay there again!

We had a very nice weekend visiting our daughter who is a UC student. She was happy that we were able to bring our dogs and hosted a few of her friends for a cookout. The owner could not have been more accommodating, we will definitely be back again.

This house was a perfect for our long weekend with friends. Location is awesome, within a 20 minute walk of everything we wanted to do! The house was also well outfitted and stocked - no emergency trips to the store to get something that should have been there. Highly recommend to others.
