Newly refurbished home on a triple lot, two blocks from campus.
Hi! We would love to welcome you to this beautiful home. The house is located on a triple lot with a large, flat yard for BBQs, tailgates, and touch-football games. The home was recently completely refurbished and refurnished. There are six bedrooms and three Tempur-Pedic couch beds. Twenty people can hang out and sleep very comfortably.
You will not need a car once you arrive. The home is one block to the restaurants and coffee shops on Eddy Street Commons, two blocks to campus, and two blocks to Trader Joe’s. Walking to the stadium takes less than 10 minutes.
The home has wonderful space for remote work and a large screened-in patio for drinks, chats and jokes in the evenings.
The house was built in 1917 by the Hickey family – who built 43 of the buildings on Notre Dame’s campus. Knute Rockne lived next door and Knute asked the Hickeys to be his sponsors and godparents when he became Catholic.

This house was perfect for our weekend trip for a Notre Dame football game. There were 16 of us and all slept comfortably. The host was very responsive with any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!
The house was perfect for our group of 20 ranging in age from 14-87 in town for a football game/ celebration of life. Beds were extremely comfortable, with plenty of linens and towels, and all the necessary toiletries and paper products provided. The fold up mattresses were perfect for the kids to sleep on. House is fully renovated with incredible outdoor space and a very easy walk to campus. Owner communication was great. Highly recommended!
An absolutely amazing (and historic!) place to stay just around the corner from Eddy Commons. We had a fantastic weekend with 12-14 adults (aged 20’s to 70’s) all spread out throughout the house. The backyard is purpose built for a large outdoor gathering, and you are a 10-20 minute walk from Notre Dame Stadium, Touchdown Jesus, the Dome, Basilica, and Grotto.
Communication with property manager/owners was excellent. Had an issue with a temporary/“unlucky timing” neighborhood noise issue that was out of the control of the managers or owners, but they were quick to respond and rectify. The location and yard associated with this property is excellent, especially for kids and families. Great gameday experience here. We absolutely hope to return here for ND football weekends!
Excellent. Great time
Everything was done really well. Home is beautiful and clean. As advertised!
Great backyard for the kids to play. Very clean and newly remodeled.
Excellent property. Very beautifully appointed.
Well furnished, well maintained, very walkable to ND campus
This house is wonderful. Equipped with everything you might need, a great outdoor space, close to Eddy St and Notre Dame, wonderful gathering areas for large groups. Truly a gem!
Had a great stay. Everyone enjoyed the property, kids loved the swing hanging on the tree.
We very much enjoyed our weekend. The house is spacious which was very nice for our family. We traveled from mid Michigan to South Bend with extended family for our son's wedding. The house was within half an hour of the wedding venue. Family members enjoyed the backyard, screened porch, and convenience of walking in the area. The house was clean and well organized.
We were welcomed home by the yellow front door, tasteful furnishings and grassy fenced yard with a tree swing in the backyard. The space was comfortable for grandma down to our kindergartener! Thank you for a wonderful stay. Go ND from Seattle
