North Tahoe Chalet with Private Garage - Walk to Donner Lake

Great house - incredibly comfortable and well stocked with every amenity. We loved it and will be back! Highly recommend this spot for families.

We stayed at this beautiful cabin on Donner Lake over the 4th of July weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The cabin was absolutely gorgeous—immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and so well stocked with everything we needed. It truly felt like a home away from home. There were tons of fun activities in the area, from paddle boarding and kayaking to enjoying the festive fireworks over the lake. We loved having such a cozy place to come back to each evening. The kitchen had everything for cooking, there were games and comfy spaces for relaxing, and the hosts really thought of every detail. We can’t wait to come back—highly recommend for anyone looking for a perfect getaway on Donner Lake!

Home was very clean - we thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay. Spacious deck off the dining and living room and a quiet yard with chairs, great for reaxing! Kitchen was well equipped, there were plenty of bath towels, soap, tp and shampoo. Darling neighborhood with friendly neighbors!

The home was nice and comfortable. Walking distance to the lake (west end beach) and the pub. Short drive to the market and other restaurants. A short drive to downtown truckee and Tahoe Donner. The beds were super comfortable and the home had a nice, spacious layout. Would recommend.

The house was perfect for our visit to Donner Lake. It is on a quiet street and the neighborhood is great for walking. The public beach is a great way to spend the day and the Little Truckee ice cream shop is a must. The house had everything we needed for a great stay.

Walking distance to the private Donner Beach. Kitchen had everything we needed. Very clean and spacious. Would stay here again!

I have rented in the West End since I was a child with my parents and this was my first time at this particular cabin. It was exceptionally clean, comfortable and spacious. Look forward to returning!

In the past I have rented several cabins. This cabin was cleaned well. I would of liked to see another refrigerator in the garage to help with a weeks worth of food but overall I would recommend this cabin to any family.

The house was spacious and a perfect base camp for our week in Tahoe/Donner. We hiked the 7 mile trail around Donner Lake and discovered the perfect beach to come back to later in the week - China Cove. Great kitchen where we cooked most nights; Truckee dining is impossible (restaurants are short-staffed and by reservation only). Would definitely stay here again.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
