North Shore Lake Tahoe - Near Ski Resort and Beach

The cabin was perfect! We had such a lovely time. It was clean and spacious. All the instructions and supplies were easy to find and well labeled. It was cozy and sweet and close to amenities for a quick grocery run or trip to the beach. Will definitely plan on staying again the next time we’re in Tahoe

This cabin is roomy and comfortable, with furnishings in very good condition. Very functional kitchen for cooking and socializing. The neighborhood is nice, and so close to both Northstar and the lake. The place was cleaned well but was missing dishwasher soap and the hot water was still turned down, which we didn't notice until we needed them. (A big storm arrived so host could not reach us on the dishwasher soap and we couldn't go out.) So not a 5 this time but absolutely would come here again and expect a 5 star.

This place was absolutely amazing, beyond our expectations. The house is spacious, clean, and very comfortable, perfect for a family vacation. One thing we truly appreciated was how fully equipped the kitchen was so many appliances and cooking tools provided, it really felt like a home away from home.The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful, with stunning winter views that made the stay even more special. Waking up every morning to such a lovely environment was a joy.The host was exceptional extremely helpful, responsive, and kind throughout our stay. Communication was smooth, and we felt very well taken care of from start to finish.This vacation was very meaningful for our family, and staying in this home made it even more special. Our dream of experiencing a winter holiday finally came true, and this place played a big part in creating those unforgettable memories.Highly recommended. We would absolutely love to stay here again. Thank you for being part of our beautiful and memorable winter getaway.

Wonderful stay. Really appreciated all the little extras like available spices, etc. plenty of blankets to deal with uneven heating. Fireplace was great as well. Very pleasant and comfortable stay! Location was fantastic just minutes from North Star skiing.

Lots of great amenities to make for a fantastic stay. Peggy was great and a very friendly host, getting back to me very promptly each time. We all had a great time here!

Our group had a great time. Location worked great for us, close by but away from the main road. Space for everyone one to feel comfortable.

Myself, wife and our five kids had an amazing time staying at this well kept and spacious place. Walking out the back was like you had your own private access to a forest. All the amenities and supplies were more than we anticipated. Host does an amazing job preparing the place for her guest!

Beds were comfortable, boys played in the snow right behind the house. So convenient!!!

It's the 4th time we're staying in Peggy's house, and we had a great time as always. The location is great - close to town but secluded with direct forest access from the porch, the house is well-equipped, and the layout is great.We had some snags with water leaks that were taken care of quickly.Hoping to come back for our 5th time soon!

quiet area of north shore but still close to all

This house is a great spot for a family. Lots of space to be together downstairs and a loft (with toys!) where the kids can play on their own if they want to. The house was incredibly well-appointed with every kitchen utensil, game, and movie you could want. We really appreciated that they had a sled in the garage since we didn’t bring one and were there for a short trip.

The home was well stocked and the layout is nice and convenient. Downstairs master bedroom is very spacious. Kitchen is well stocked and there are plenty of towels and bedding. Only thing is the loft does not have futons, they are sofa beds and one of them is not really functional as a bed. But there were plenty of other beds so not really an issue. Nice location with good food nearby.

We loved it. Very clean, comfortable. Everything you need and more. Thank you for having us. Would love it longer term as we have family in the area . We had my more adult granddaughters. Daughter and her husband and us and there was enough space and quiet space for everyone. Living room couch needs more cushions but that was no big deal. I still give it an Atttt

We had a wonderful time. The house was equip with everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Walking trails behind home, short drive to the lake, Tahoe City for rafting and restaurants. Plan on returning next summer.

Very comfortable family home.

Peggy’s property was a perfect fit for our family trip to Tahoe. We were conveniently located, short drive to the stores and lake. We enjoyed that the house was fully stocked. The kids loved the play area. Only thing was beds weren’t the most comfortable. Bedding was more for winter, it got a bit hot as we were visiting during a warmer weekend. Loved Kings beach area of Tahoe would definitely return again!

Very cute house, very spacious with all the desired utensils and necessities. Great decoration with lots of toys, books and kids movies that our children loved. Great retreat after a busy day kayaking and enjoying Lake Tahoe. A good shaded trail behind the house to enjoy the evening. Will come back to Lake Tahoe and it will be this same house.

Loved everything about this home! My kids had an amazing time. My son enjoyed all the toys, the older kids played board games all day. Awesome selection of VHS/DVD’s. Beautiful backyard and front yard. Beds were very comfortable. Thank you Peggy!
