North Phoenix 6 Bedroom with Guest House & Pool! Great for Large Groups

The property had plenty of space for all guests, with a game room and pool to help entertain the younger guests. Cosmetically, the property could use some repairs but nothing that impacted the stay. We were not made aware prior to arrival regarding the weekly pool maintenance or the arrival of the yard maintenance crew but we adjusted and all was fine. But be aware of this if traveling with pets. We enjoyed the quiet location, the game room, and especially the pool. The check in and check out process was quick and easy. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay

The area the house is in was in was nice. Couldn't get the tv's in the bedrooms to work. We stayed Monday thru Thursday, the pool cleaning guys came on Tuesday morning and Thursday morning and NEVER KNOCKED, just let themselves in through the side gate. Both days we were caught off guard. It was very uncomfortable as we were caught off guard and had to stay inside as we were in bathing suits and felt extremely vulnerable (all women at the property). I texted the property manager, and his response was well the knocked, which was a lie. I was there getting my PhD from GCU and had family and friends stay with me at the property. We found 3 cockroachs on the second day of our stay. The kitchen counter tops are cracked, kitchen table was stained, and kitchen cabinets were dirty and not put in correctly. The fence in the back yard between the house and the Casita is falling down, so if you have dogs like we did, make sure to keep them away from it! The Casita's bathroom was not finished and looked like someone just forgot about complete renovations in it, which always embarrassing as I had some family stay in there. I voiced my concern to the property manager and sayed I expected a 20 percent discount. The property manager was rude. I told them I was going to leave a bad and true review. Their response was that was okay as they would leave a bad one on me. We left the house cleaner than we found it, the house needs work, and the pool guys need to knock first. Bad experience!!

This property was perfect for our large family and we were even able to have a small graduation gathering. We will definitely stay there again

Wish we'd read reviews more carefully. Older than we thought. Not well maintained. Yard maintenance needs to be scheduled before pool maintenance.

Chose based on the VRBO site. Learned property descriptions & pics weren't what's there. Pics old ie. pic of the pool palm tree is about half the size. Bedrooms more appealing in pics. Musty smell in bedrooms, dirty carpet? Some beds VERY LOW, just mattresses on frames, no tables in some bedrooms. A bedroom didn't have a closer to keep the door shut. Locks don't lock inside. No working light 1 bedroom. Toilet seat loose small bath. Bathroom guest house appears been remodeling phase for a while. Tubs slippery. Small shower leaking at the spicket & wrecking wall, tightening fixed it. Main tub rusty track & too high. String chairs outside not usable. Need loungers. Pool freezing, thought by website could pay to heat, found out after booking, no heat! Misleading! Air hockey game v. table & ping pong table v. couch/chairs in pics. Not against items, but not what's pictured. Kitchens: only 1 fork & few spoons. Bought plastic cutlery. Not enough plates, cups, bowl etc for 10 people. Inadequate kitchen supplies generally. No blender. Ice machine didn't work. Microwave above stove doesn't work so no vent fan. Has backup microwave. Main house countertops were cracked all over. No kitchen towels or oven mitts. Trash can broke. Sprinkler busted outside next to master BR, very loud. Grass blown into guest house d/t huge crack in door, grass very long on arrival. Nice offering if pay attention to detail & took care of basic maintenance. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Property on VRBO twice!

The house and guest house was a nice fit for all of us.

The check in process was good. Outside of property and surrounding is lovely. However, the house seemed moldy and smelled like cigarette smoke. Three bedroom lightting fixtures did not work. The sliding door lock did not latch so we could not lock the door. I was locked out of guest house due lock to door was jammed. Bathrooms are dark. Not enough furniture to make it comfortable. Not one night stand in each room and no table or console to leave items on. Guest house seemed like still under constructions. Visible breakgage and cracked throughout house. I booked for 5 nights but left after one night. Two windows did not work. It was overall not a great experience. We were not comfortable at all. Kitchen had no basic coffee maker or basic salt and pepper. etc.. It was overall not a place for us to feel comfortable in. We had filed a complaint and asked for a refund. I hope host can prepare and place and make it brighter, nicer as this place has great potential to be beautiful.
