Stayed Sep 13, 2023The host is very unresponsive! We reserved this home for my son’s Army graduation. We received notification that the dates had been changed. I tried to contact the host, Brad, many times through the VRBO app and by calling VRBO representatives multiple times. He was unresponsive to my messages and to VRBO’s attempt to contact him. VRBO advised me not to cancel due to the host’s lack of communication. While I understand the business of short-term rentals, I had hoped that, given the circumstances, Brad would be empathetic to our situation. I was trying to communicate with him to come up with an alternative solution. When he finally responded to my messages, he agreed to refund me the insurance fee, cleaning fee, and pool fee. It has been two months, and I have not received the refund. I have attempted to contact Brad numerous times myself and with the help of VRBO representatives. He has still not responded. I do not recommend anyone to rent this property due to the lack of communication and follow through.
