Stayed Jul 19, 2025The house is very cozy. We enjoyed the screened in porch to be able to sit outside without bugs. We did use the fire pit two nights and made s’mores. I would agree with other reviews though. If you have mobility issues, there are a lot of steps down to the dock. The location of the dock is perfect. It’s a very quiet cove, and the kids swam every evening after boating all day. The Wi-Fi and cell service is spotty so this may not be a good place if you have to connect but for our family that was part of the fun. The Owner response was very quick and Steve provided us with a lot of helpful information about where to put in our boat, etc.Thank you for sharing your cozy home.

Stayed Aug 30, 2024We had a wonderful stay. Plenty of room for our family. Great, quiet cove for swimming and relaxing as well as bringing a boat. The screen porch was a great place to be when we weren't in the water. We enjoyed our stay.

Stayed Jul 13, 2024PROS-on the lake, dock is nice and cove where the house is located is great. Kitchen has great appliances. CONS-First time EVER that I never heard from the host at a VRBO location, and we have stayed in plenty. I never heard from them before, during, nor after. Even to say, here is the code to enter, we hope you enjoy. The house was dirty when we arrived. Coffee still in the pot, water in the refrigerator draws, floor was filthy throughout. Prior vacationers' hair in the showers/sinks upon arrival. 151 steps to the water. This is simply a CON for our family and maybe no issue for anyone else. We have stayed in TN for many years in different VRBO homes and these steps were by far the hardest to maneuver. The comforters, we did not use one of them. There were stains on every single one of them. We are not the type of family to complain, so the host will not hear from us directly. This post to simply let others know some of the details before spending money towards the rental, and to bring your cleaning supplies. Lastly, this is the first post I ever left with negative results, and it makes me feel horrible in doing so.
