Stayed Jan 1, 1The location is literally on the beach with some great walks when you are out and great views when you are in. The house itself has all amenities and we cooked a full Xmas dinner with ease. If thats not for you there are some good pubs and cafes within 10 minutes walk that we found very warm and friendly. Back to the house, we relaxed in warm and comfortable rooms and the smart TV and WiFi kept everyone entertained. We look forward to staying here again.

Stayed Jan 1, 1We spent a great week at this cottage there were only two of us and our dog, so very spacious. The cottage is very comfortable and warm, we did have an issue with the iPlayer and catch up which was sorted quickly, there were no details explaining how to switch on another EE box which would be very easy and save time. The water is definitely not hot enough, as there were only two people the water should have been plenty. The huge bath I only filled about 4 inches max but the water was never hot enough. The welcome pack which was very hyped was a bit mean, 3 loo rolls for what would a week for 6 people! Only 5 dishwasher tablets etc etc. I have mentioned before that there should be some kitchen towels otherwise the fat used in frying pan could clog and block the sink. It would be useful to have some antibacterial spray and cleaning things like loo cleaner. I have and always will strip beds where ever I stay even travel lodge and hotels, I do feel it’s a bit much being asked and text to strip beds before leaving. Having said that this is an amazing cottage very quiet relaxing and peaceful and the best views on the island although I feel very over priced. But would recommend to anyone with money no issue.

Stayed Jan 1, 1So let me start this by saying you are paying for the view, this is absolutely breathtaking and I spent every evening just watching the world go by. The beach is right there but has a steep slope which is soft sand and difficult if you struggle but is quick to get down. The house itself is quite nice and has everything needed. We had a couple of issues which we contacted the company with, firstly one of the main glass back doors would not open so couldn't be used, second was the frying pans which were badly damaged and unusable but they were replaced whilst we were there, third was the awedul smell of urine in the master bedroom shower room which has carpet down in and unpleasant. I was told it would be deep cleaned. Overall though we had a lovely stay as it was a treat for my 40th birthday and 20th wedding anniversary we spent a bit more than normal on our holiday but I wouldn't stay here again at the price it is as I don't think it's worth it compared to others in the area we have stayed in. I can't fault the company though they always do their best.

Stayed Jan 1, 1In the upstairs bedrooms only half of the room is useable space. The drawers in the master room are totally unusable particularly for the older person. However, there is no wardrobe just a few hooks. The floorboards on the entire upper floor are really noisy. The second bedroom contains a small double bed not a double bed as stated in the description. For the whole week all except the first person in had cold showers, because the air source heat pump cannot cope with replenishing the hot water especially when it is set at a meagre 40 degrees. Hot water should be stored at least at 60°C and distributed so that it reaches a temperature of 50°C to prevent risk of Legionnaires Disease. The aged cushions are so old their feathers are coming out and they smell. Having asthma and being allergic to feathers this meant I had to take medication the whole time I was there. When providing accommodation for a wider public I would have thought that clean hypoallergenic products would be in order or at least a warning issued in the details. Aside from the above the whole house was overused and grubby with the downstairs bathroom floor rotting around the toilet area causing a smell of urine to pervade the house. Crockery was cracked, the sofas had seen much better days and were totally uncomfortable. The outside sofa frame was rusty and crumbling before our eyes, making it unusable and in fact an accident waiting to happen. One of the kitchen windows didn’t open as it was broken the toaster is broken along with the binoculars and the dishwasher which doesn’t wash the dishes well and the door is hanging off. All in all, I think that once upon a time the property was a delight sloping ceilings, hot water and feather pillows aside. It is now well past it’s sell by date and not worth the money asked for it’s rental. The website pictures show a house that is right on the beach it isn’t, in fact getting to and from the beach is really difficult due to the steep incline of soft sand. The website also fails to mention the jets that are flying over from early morning. I would expect more honesty in the description of the property and perhaps a refurb.

Stayed Jan 1, 1The house is great in a fantastic location and we have booked it again for next year because we enjoyed the house, the village and Anglesey in general. The only issue was that both the sliding doors to the patio area were not working which meant access to the back of the house and beach was via the front door and there was no way to get fresh air into the kitchen area. Hopefully that’s sorted quickly for future guests.

Stayed Jan 1, 1Third time staying here, stunning location and view. Lovely house, perhaps looking a bit tired in places and still not a fan of carpet in en-suite. Maintenance man called to fix door and we were pre warned by customer care. He was lovely. Just such a lovely place to enjoy the beach and sit on balcony or deck with glass of wine and snacks.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This property is absolutely stunning, set in a breathtaking area! The facilities are fantastic, and having three bathrooms was such a game-changer. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. And the best part? Watching the sunset every evening with a glass of wine in hand – pure bliss!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The house is situated in the most perfect location with absolutely breath-taking views. We picked it purposely to be near the RAF base which didn't disappoint! The welcome basket was lovely upon arrival. The lounge upstairs is perfect, very comfy corner sofa and we loved the balcony, beautiful views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The house was well equipped for anything you could possible think of. We loved the outside space, it was very private and the cushions for the garden furniture were very luxury. Hosepipe was fantastic, especially to hose down a very sandy dog. We needed to get in touch with the letting company whilst on holiday due to an electrical fault, they were amazing and the problem was sorted easily within a couple of hours. Only a few negatives, the kitchen could have had more cupboard space for us to store our food, we ended up putting a lot of things on the tops of the cupboards rather than in them. A few of the bowls & plates were chipped, which i suppose you wouldn't know unless you were using them. The downstairs bedroom has a rug which seemed to be full of white dog hair which got onto peoples clothes. On arrival there was some dog muck on the grass outside the front of the property but this could have easily been missed as it was camouflaged. Overall the house is lovely but the location makes it amazing.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had the perfect short stay at Niwl Y Mor. The accommodation was great everything we could possibly need and a nice welcome basket was a lovely touch. A short walk to Rhosneigr along the beach with a few shops, bars and eateries was everything we needed. By far the best thing was the location and magnificent views across the beach we didn't want to leave and would have stayed longer if it wasn't booked out. An excellent property and we will be back as soon as possible.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969A fabulous house with generous, well-equipped accommodation, overlooking the beautiful coastline around Rhosneigr. A minute's stroll through the dunes and you're on the beach. Perfect for a family holiday.
