Nice and Cozy 2 Bedroom Home -10 min from Ft. Benning, GA

Cozy place to stay that is close by the fort benning area.

This home was very cute and we had a great stay. The area was nice and close to many stores and restaurants and downtown. We were also very close to Fort Benning where our son was.

This was the perfect cozy home for our stay! Our family enjoyed the home and the pretty back yard. It’s very close to everything and easy to navigate the area. Even the neighbors were nice and had a little chat with us! If you’re looking for a cozy, family friendly place- this is it!!A plus for us, we didn’t need an alarm- the train rolling through woke us up right on time !!!

Nice cozy house. It had everything we needed. We were in town for my sons BCT graduation at fort Benning which was about 20 min from the base.The neighborhood was quiet. We are not used to the Georgia humidity but the house stayed cool and comfortable the entire time. It was close to plenty of places to eat and shops.

My family and I had a wonderful visit at this location. We were here for my soldiers graduation. It is a quiet location that reminds me of home! This is definitely a location worth booking!

Property was in a super quiet neighborhood. Was really easy to get around because it was in a great location. Really appreciated working with the host. If I need to go back I know where I am staying.

Yes, we had a nice stay. The snacks and water were appreciated. The host responded well fixing a problem quickly. It is an older budget friendly place.

We were looking for a place to stay to go to our son’s graduation at Fort Benning (which is about 22 minutes drive). The house was neat and clean. We used the oven once to cook a meal and everything was fine. The only issue we had was with the water spout in the kitchen because it wouldn’t swirl to the normal tap in the sink. But I let the owner know and they said they will have it fixed.

There was no toaster.The sink faucet spray was stuck on spray. The first time l used it l got soaked. Stores not nearby.TV remote worked sporadically.

The house had an extremely foul mold/mildew odor. So much that after 10 minutes in the house, all three of us had splitting headaches and nose running. I don’t have allergies and it was terrible. The carpet was very dingy and would not allow bare feet to come in contact with. The unit was as clean as it could be. The price was affordable, but we could not sleep there. The host was responsive and refunded us most of our money. The back yard was sketchy with a burnt trash barrel for homeless bonfires and the grill was not clean or safe to use. Windows were not able to be opened to get fresh air into house. All the chairs had horrible stains and my wife and son’s girlfriend would not sit on anything. Location was not horrible. Eating of .5 out of 100.

Nice place, comfortably furnished, quiet neighborhood, easy drive to downtown Columbus at Fort Benning. Easy check-in/check-out. Would stay again!

It was clean centrally located and had everything that we needed. It was very easy to access and get around from.

This property was cute, clean, and conveniently located. The owner was responsive and the price was very reasonable. We used it for lodging while in town for a three day swim meet and it was perfectly situated less than 10 minutes away. The only downside was its proximity to the train. When the conductor blew the horn in the middle of the night, it was quite loud and woke us up (not every night, but two nights). I didn’t take off any stars for that, though, because it really isn’t within the control of the homeowner which conductors blow and when. Just letting others know - in the event that that would be useful information to know.

This little house, was warm and inviting. A nice home away from home. Nicely stocked little kitchen. Take use a little leave a little. Felt bad leaving a day early as we got some bad news back home and didn’t have a chance to make sure we properly checked out of the house like we were supposed to as we were pretty rushed and upset. I would recommend this place to anyone especially to the Families coming to see their Soldiers turn Green at Ft. Benning!!! Thank you so much for making our stay great!!!

The house was clean and as advertised by the photos. Overall, met all our needs. The only drawback is that it backs onto some train tracks and multiple trains come through per day-though not in the middle of the night so our sleep was not substantially disturbed and the neighborhood was very quiet. We would stay again if it met our needs.

The house is very old and the floors are uneven and dangerous if any balance ir mobility issue. The front walk was broken and umeven. No handrailson steps. Train is edge of yard and comes through all hours of the night. There was food in back of trashcan and trash init. The corners of the rooms n qoodwork were filthy. The house smelled like a musty basement. Probably cause the floors are so bad. Mold in the shower. Very disappointed. The couch is very broken down and washer and dryer rusty with something in washer tub

Enjoyed our stay

Cut home by many accomodations. Close enough to the base. Negatives;Matress and pillows were not any good leaving aches. A large vent took up the hallways, hard to step on. Made it difficult for us and my little one.We were not prepared for the train that would pass and honk its horn through the nigh to early morning waking those sleeping. With a little one, these items made it uncomfortable to stay much. We stayed else where all the days and only slept then left each day.

House was clean and beds comfortable. Property is in a quiet neighborhood, however train tracks are right behind the backyard and a train came through each night passed midnight and other 2-3 times. After a 10 hour drive we didn’t get much rest followed by the next few days. House is fixed up but could use some additional repairs. The bathroom fans are hanging off the ceiling and a power plug was exposed in the back bedroom. Otherwise it was okay to spend some time with my two sons. We appreciate the extra blankets.

House was clean and comfortable. Fenced yard great for pet. Outside of home just needs some work.

Only issue was that I had to reach out to the Property owner a few times because he wouldn’t respond to emails or send the code for the property. The property itself was nice, comfortable and clean

The overall stay was really good. It does back up to railroad tracks. Thankfully not busy tracks, about every 6 hours or so a train came through. Otherwise very restful and good for getting to and from Ft. Benning.

I’ve never rented a property like this. The neighborhood was a little sketchy. The property was really small. The house was really old. The walk way was quite dangerous. I would have gotten a hotel had I known what to expect

We loved the home so much, it’s near Fort Benning so there was no trouble at all. Very nice backyard and really clean.

We enjoyed our stay in this quiet neighborhood. Easy to find and get into. We would stay here again!

Over all was satisfied. The part of town was slightly rougher than I would have liked. But no problems. Neighbors dogs were the only bother. And the train only ran once a day and twice during the weekend. Again not an issue. Will be booking again! Thank you.

2 generously sized bedrooms; new flooring; hot shower!! Could use a few more kitchen items.

Everything we needed for my son's turning blue ceremony. It was nice and cozy just as it states. He got the rest he needed. Beds were comfortable. The bedrooms were spacious. The host was very helpful. We got an extra night with my son than what we thought. So i last minute needed one more night. Luckily no one had booked it and he helped us with no problems at all. We will be staying again. Hopefully got blue ceremony and graduation. Definitely a great choice. Especially if you are there for a basic training ceremony.

The propwrty was an older home bit it was updated inside. And the neighborhood was quiet. It was perfect for our purposes.

Very close to Ft Benning, which was our reason for visiting. The neighborhood was mixed - meaning some blocks were neat and showed pride of ownership, some blocks were run down. The house itself is small, but neat and tidy. Adequately appointed with everything you would need. It was clean. Comfortable beds. The train tracks are directly behind the house, so the morning alarm clock is about 7:30. Was not an issue for me at all….The only issue — THE ONLY — was that the house smelled musty, like it was sitting closed up for a long time. We never had an issue with hot water, like in other reviews. Close to stores and restaurants. Overall a nice stay.

This home was perfect for my daughter and me. Very clean and cute. We came for an Army graduation and the house was only 10 minutes from the base. We found some cute thrift stores nearby. The traintracks are right on the other side of the backyard, we were excited to see the train because we dont really have them in FL.Would definitely stay here again!

This is an old house. Probably build in the 40 or 50’s. It has been updated and decorated very pretty. The neighbor was peaceful except for the train coming through (which we knew would happen) and was waiting and looking forward to it. Thank you! We enjoyed the stay!
