Nice 3-bedroom house located in beautiful neighborhood

This place is a mess. Unfortunately, we booked when there were no reviews, but now there are and the complaints are real. Roaches, dirty towels, no cleaning supplies, dirty bedding, no internet or cable rendering the TV absolutely useless, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, used bars of soap in the shower... We walked in and turned around and walked right back out the door & got a hotel room. Then the host tried to KEEP 1/3 of the money we spent on this craptastic residence. Now I'm fighting with VRBO to refund their portion. The whole thing was a nightmare from start to finish. I wouldn't stay here if you paid me to and I'm rethinking ever using this site again.

House was infested with roaches. Crawling across counters, coming up through the sink, even dead ones in the freezer. Made a reservation for five guests. Not enough cutlery or dishes for even four. Only dishes were in dishwasher when we checked in and not sure they were clean. No dish pods or dish soap. No kitchen towels or hot pads. Not even paper towels. We had to go buy dish soap, bar soap, paper towels and dish pods. Stovetop was covered in grease and so were the few pans that were in the oven. Only provided 4 bath towels, two appeared to be dirty as they were hanging to dry the bedroom closet. No washcloths or hand towels provided. No coffee maker. Not a single condiment, not even salt and pepper. Of course, with the roaches we made the call not to cook or eat there. Had to borrow linens and towels from local family members. Walls were filthy and all trash cans were full and the one in the kitchen appeared to contain dirty diapers/pull-ups. It was a disaster and ruined our holiday time with our family.
