We were in town for our Son's wedding in Newport. The house was large and spacious enough to accommodate our family. It has everything you could need for your vacation. Unfortunately we did not have time to utilize all Maureen offered. Maybe next time. The house has a beautiful setting on the water and is immaculate. The entire process for checking in was very easy. As was checkout. Can't say enough good things about our first experience with VRBO. Thank you to Maureen for making us feel welcome.
The Hosts were very nice , and very friendly, this was the best stay I ever had, I would give this a 10 star rating if I could. The views were amazing , the beds and all the furniture were top notch.
This home was just as advertised and was the perfect location for visiting Newport and other Rhode Island cities, including Providence. The layout of the home was great for the five adults staying there. Open floor plan living area and comfy leather couches. Lots of windows allow in natural light. Spacious kitchen is well-equipped. Comfortable beds in sizable bedrooms. Beautiful setting on the water.
Although the weather was not exactly cooperative, it did nothing to take away our enjoyment of the property. The place was homey and clean. The beds were comfy. Everything was in working order and as expected. I was worried about the binder of rules that I read about in others’ reviews but I worried for nothing. The binder was just some helpful things about the house and the location of things..nothing to stress or worry about. The owner Maureen lives next door. Super sweet woman. After introducing herself to us, she left us to enjoy our vacation but it was comforting to know that she was there if needed. We were able to catch some beautiful sunrises as we stood on the deck and looked to the right. Lots of great places to eat within walking distance and lots of cool things to do that were a short drive away. Thanks again for letting us stay! We enjoyed our time
Great communication with the hosts. They were very welcoming to our guests/employees staying there for the boat show.
We really enjoyed our stay. The rental came with everything you could possibly need.
Many positives to share on this stay. Two families of four stayed for this trip, and with that, it seemed like there was plenty of room as everything is open and well sized. There are beautiful views from nearly every room. The outdoor decks are great for a meal or an evening drink and you are always greeted by a gentle breeze. The kids enjoyed the mini pool and foosball tables. Kayaking here is great fun, lots to explore and pretty calm. Easy walks to town for ice cream, dinner, drinks. The best beaches are a short drive but there are near-by beaches for walking. Overall, a very solid place. The owners are close by and helped greet us day one. They said to just give them a shout if we needed anything but everything went well and so we didn’t see them again.
We were back again this year for another extended stay. Well equipped, clean, and very comfortable accommodations. Nicely situated on the water with beautiful views, close to attractions of all sorts. Hosts are next door, responsive to any requests but not intrusive. Highly recommend.
Thank you to Maureen and Brad for hosting their home to my family and I. The house was spacious and spotless, the amenities were wonderful, the yard was pristine and beautiful and the beach toys were lots of fun. Communication with the owners was easy, and they quickly responded anytime we reached out. We will come stay again!
This property is beautiful, spacious, peaceful. Numerous activities available, with extra large deck for relaxing and for entertaining. Extra large kitchen plus large dining room and living room. Plenty of space for our family of six adults. Hope to return next year.
Our family enjoyed the location and access to water.
This one is at the very top of our list of rentals. On the water, a beautiful cove perfect for kayaking and enjoying the view. Everything worked and very clean. Great location, close to a nice market, close to many day trips but so nice you can enjoy the whole day at the house. The owners were there if you ever needed. Highly recommended.
