My home was recently renovated with modern comforts while honoring the

original vintage charm of the historic Tri-Taylor landmark neighborhood. The

light filled space has 6 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and can sleep up to 12 guests.

The quiet street is ideal for a peaceful retreat but walkable to the Medical

District; Rush Hospital is
downtown Chicago and the West Loop restaurant corridor are a 10-min drive.

(Stairs are original and moderately steep)

General Policies:



Guest Age Policy – Guests aged 18-24 may book on an exception basis. Please

include your age, reason for booking, and who will be staying with you in your

inquiry.



Local Guest Policy – Local guests are permitted to book on an exception basis

only. Parties, gatherings, and group events are strictly prohibited.

Unauthorized gatherings or events will result in termination of reservation

without refund.



Primary Guest Responsibility – The booking guest must stay for the full

duration and is responsible for all guests. If booking on behalf of someone

else, please contact us to discuss exceptions.



Parking – Street parking may be available but is not guaranteed. Read all

posted signs to avoid tickets or towing. To secure a spot, use parking apps

like SpotHero or ParkWhiz.



City Noise – Some ambient noise is part of city living.

**House Rules:**



Please respect our home and neighbors. Violations of ANY of the following

rules may result in fines and/or termination of your reservation without a

refund.



1. No parties or unapproved guests - Only registered guests may access the property. Parties, gatherings, and group events are strictly prohibited.

2. No additional visitors - Only those listed on the reservation may enter the property. Any additional visitors must be declared and pre-approved.

3. Respect quiet hours - Keep noise levels down, especially between 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM. Failure to respect quiet hours or disturbances from an unauthorized gathering will result in termination of the reservation without refund and may result in additional fines to pay city tickets or HOA fines for violations.

4. Check-out on time - Please vacate the unit and return any issued keys by the agreed check-out time. Late check-outs will incur a $250 fee.

5. No smoking - Smoking of any kind is prohibited inside the unit and on the building premises. Evidence of smoking, including odor, will result in a $500 remediation charge. Local laws also prohibit smoking within 15 feet of any entrance.

6. Lockouts & lost keys - A $150 lockout fee applies per occurrence. Lost keys or remotes will incur a $50 replacement fee each.

7. Lost & found - We are not responsible for lost items. If something is left behind, we will attempt to locate it and ship it at your expense. Please check all drawers and closets before departure.





Additional Policies:



* Guest verification - To comply with legal and security requirements, you may need to sign a rental agreement, provide a government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact details, and submit a selfie matching your ID.

* Guest screening - Guests must have a positive track record on the booking platform and provide details about their stay and the guests traveling with them.

* AutoHost verification - We conduct additional screening after booking and reserve the right to decline reservations that do not pass verification.

    Clear instructions on how to enter property. Liked there was a washer and dryer on the premise. Appreciated the Brita water in the fridge. Enjoyed my stay! Accommodated family of 8 comfortably.

    This home is definitely in a great area. Access to highways and local transit is a plus. 15 minutes from downtown with no traffic. This is a classic Chicago home. There is ample parking for at least 3 cars The home itself is spacious, however the house does need some tlc. The roof in two of the rooms was peeling, but no leakage. The house could definitely benefit from a fresh coat of paint. The drainage system probably needs to be attended to. It took forever for the water to drain in the sink and in the tub. The stairs are extremely narrow. Good things to note.... the water stayed warm for a group of 10 to shower. The dining room chairs should probably be replaced or cleaned. With a few minor updates this place can easily be a 5 star.

    We stayed to attend lollapalooza. Easy to get in and out of downtown, and nice to be in a quieter neighborhood. The stairs to second storey would limit some guests, but there are 3 bedrooms downstairs.

    Nice home away from home for a long weekend stay. Plenty of space, 6 beds and 2 bathrooms worked well for our group of 7. Plenty of parking in the driveway for 3 or 4 cars. The patio area in the back is a good space to relax with friends. Easy walk home from the United Center

    House was as described, and we enjoyed our stay. It's an old house so there's quirks to be expected. Very steep stairs going to the top floor (main bedrooms, laundry). Would be tricky for elderly or very young (toddler age). Luggage needs to be brought in from the outside stairway. Didn't bother us, just FYI. All beds were super clean and comfortable. Kitchen and living room were updated nicely. The bathrooms weren't as updated so a little disappointed. They were clean. Had a few minor issues checking in and the local host was not responsive. The main host was helpful though.Overall nice place to stay with the family.

    We loved our stay! The kitchen was fully stocked with spices, plates, and cookware which was really nice. Bed was very comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. The host was very communicative and understanding when a family member burned food on the stove. We would definitely recommend this rental.

    The house was good, plenty of space. The steps were hard to get up and down but the upstairs was a nice space. House had a bit of a musty odor and the windows could use a cleaning. One night while watching a movie, we received a text stating we were had a loud party and to keep it down. They must have big brother watching us as the only party going on that night was in the movie. Overall the house was close to the city but in a nice Neiborhood. Having a fenced yard with off street parking was a plus. Would recommend for a group wanting some space.

    The house was excellent for our family. It was definitely enough room and everything was okay for our trip. Neighborhood was nice and no one bothered us.
