Our home features a comfortable living room, a fully equipped kitchen with new appliances, an in-unit washer and dryer, a work-from-home station, and a newly renovated bathroom with custom tile and a bathtub. Located in a quiet, safe neighborhood with plenty of off-street parking, it’s the perfect spot to relax and recharge with cozy decor and a peaceful vibe, whether you're visiting solo or with a small group. Relax and enjoy the outdoors in our 2-person hot tub, cook for everyone on the propane grill, and enjoy on the outdoor patio with a 4-person dining set, outdoor TV and string lights!

Our home is a side-by-side duplex, and this unit has its own private entrance at the front of the house, closest to the street. Inside, you’ll find everything on one level—one bedroom, one bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy living room—all conveniently located on the ground floor.

99% of guests are visiting family, friends, on a work trip, or just exploring town. For anyone who intends to have a party, disturb the neighborhood, or in any other way violate our house rules, we want to make clear that:



We have a zero-tolerance policy for this. We have noise sensors that alert us if decibel levels pass a certain threshold, and we have unfortunately had to ask guests to leave for violating this rule. Being a good neighbor of the city and the block we are on is very important to us.



We have sensors to detect indoor smoking (nicotine and marijuana) and have an automatic $750 fine for violations, and have also had to ask guests to leave early for violating this rule.



Parking

Our driveway fits up to two cars in tandem. Please park in the driveway closer to the street as the back of the driveway is for the property in the rear. There is also plenty of street parking available as well directly outside our house!



Entry

The unit is fully accessible via a YALE smart lock at the duplex front door and on the unit door. To enter each one, enter the code we provide in your reservation check-in instructions, and press the CHECK to unlock.



When leaving, enter that same code followed by the CHECK mark and the deadbolt will close. The locks will also auto-lock after one minute if you forget to lock.

We are available whenever you need! Please feel free to reach out via the app or website you booked on with any specific questions. For any health emergencies, please dial 911. If a system malfunctions (i.e., hot water not functioning or a light has gone out), please send us a message on the app or website you booked on and we will be sure to address it in as short a time as possible (we usually respond within a few minutes). We also have handymen, electricians, plumbers, and landscapers with whom we work, so for any extenuating circumstances, we will happily bring them out to solve your issues post haste!



Extra Sleeping Arrangements

Pullout Couch: Underneath the horizontal seat you will find two fabric handles. Pull them out from under the couch and raise up the extra mattress section from underneath the couch. Remove the couch pillows to make space for two!



Air Mattress: Stored in one of our closets, you will find a queen-size air mattress for additional sleeping space. Designed for camping, it’s extra-sturdy and provides a wonderful sleeping space for two. To inflate, please plug in the pump and wait for it to charge. Once the light on it is solid (not blinking), unplug the pump, insert the end into the air mattress, and flip the switch to inflate. You’ll find extra linens and towels in the pullout couch storage compartment as well.



Extra Linens: Underneath the chaise section of the couch you will find four bath towels and four hand towels, two pillows, a comforter, and two sets of sheets and two pillowcases.

We love hosting folks, so we want to be as respectful as possible to our wonderful neighbors. Since we’re in a quiet neighborhood, we do ask that you follow a few easy rules:



- No parties & no overnight guests without prior approval. If you’re looking to host a small gathering, that’s probably ok but please let us know.

- Respectful, quiet volume, particularly after 9 pm.

- Please leave your shoes at the door.

- No pets please, as many of the guests we host have allergies.

- No smoking - also, don't discard your cigarettes in house trash cans. They get stinky.

- If you break or damage something, please let us know and arrange for its replacement or repair.

- Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests. Our home is pest-free and we intend to keep it that way with your help.

Getting Around

There are two bus routes that take you from the property to downtown Ann Arbor via W Huron Street and W Liberty Street, respectively.



For the W Huron Street route, turn left out of the house onto Montgomery and walk up to Washington Street. Take a right onto W Washington, then a left onto Crest, and then a short left to the bus stop on W Huron. Take the number 4 or 5 buses to town!



For the W Liberty Street route, turn right out of the house onto Montgomery and turn left onto Bemidji Drive. Take your first right onto Crest and then a right towards the bus stop on W Liberty Street. A range of bus routes from here take you wherever you need to go!

    Had a great stay. The host was excellent, very responsive and accommodating. Great location tucked away in a nice, quiet neighborhood, yet a very short drive to everything Ann Arbor offers. Also great area for walking for exercise.The host has thought of everything you could possibly need. Would not hesitate to stay again.

    The place and location is amazing. The amenities were unbelievable and the place was absolutely spotless. The communication with the property owner was an absolute pleasure. They are more than gracious and amazing to work with. Couldn’t recommend this property more, if you’re looking for a place to stay in Ann Arbor. Skip the over priced hotels and book here! I’ll definitely be back on my next visit.

    Came to Ann Arbor to checkout the college and catch a Michigan game. Location was great. Clean and comfortable accommodations. Great communication and very helpful to our needs. Highly recommend.

    In general the property a nice little place in a great location and was as advertised except for one misrepresentation: The location was lovely and very convenient for us as it was near our son's home and allowed us to come and go easily; 2) The unit is clean and comfortable, but when we first entered the property late at night we were hit hard by a strong musty smell that reminded me of mold or something similar. We opened all the windows and turned on the fan, but the smell persisted. We left the windows open for much of our visit, which helped disburse the smell. I did not call in about the smell because I didn't think there was really any other help for it in the short term. The property managers were very responsive when we reached out to them via text and answered questions well and quickly. They clearly aim to please! :)
