Newly renovated waterfront home on Samish Island with firepit

Being right on the beach was such a treat. The neighbors were very helpful, welcoming and kind. The downstairs shower was stopped up so we got some Drano and a plunger and were able to unclog it.

The house itself was cute and well furnished. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. To be clear the house was nice.However, the Management company (Vacasa) that provides the 'service' was sub-par. The front door lock didn't work and the company never answered my call even when using the push one if this is a safety issue option on the phone tree. I also texted. They did text me six hours later (after midnight) asking if I was using the code they texted. Yes, I was. The maintenance person also (I also texted in the morning when I found that the toilet didn't flush) had the lock fail intermittently - even after changing out the battery. I shouldn't have lost half a day dealing with these issues, but was afraid to leave the house if I'd risk not being able to get back in. Let's not even talk about having to climb over flood barriers once the door was opened. I found the owners number inside and he did talk me through how to do this, but I never should have had to climb over in the first place. VRBO handles the 'matchmaking' for renters and properties, but the management company handled communication and service - and not well! If I knew there was a different management company, I'd definitely rent this house again. I hope the owner choses a different managment company to handle tenant communications/service.

Very nice beach front home on Samish Island. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable sleeping and living arrangements. Nice sheets and towels. And Very Clean! I would definitely return.

This is my third stay at the property and look forward to my fourth. Quiet, clean, serene.

This is a much loved family friendly home, on the water, great for those with limited mobility and who want the serenity of the water at their door step.

Mother, sister and I found the home quite charming and well suited to our needs. One of the cleanest houses I have stayed in. Incredibly well stocked. A photo showing location of the fireplace switch would be helpful - but we found it! Enjoyed watching birds (including neighbor's friendly chickens). Quite nice.

We enjoyed our stay with only a couple of issues. The house was very clean and well-stocked. Although the neighbors were very close, it was quiet. The in-wall heaters in some of the rooms were old and loud. We also were confused about where to take the garbage on check-out. A big deal was made about it, but no way we could find the cans...so we left it in the kitchen, hoping there would not be a problem.

Loved the decor, beds, cleanliness, space, views, campfires, main shower, porcelain dishware, and coffee!

Clean, quiet, and exactly what I needed for a week away. The fireplace was a real bonus!

I stayed here with my partner and a couple of other friends for a weekend. It was quiet and peaceful, just what we needed! It's a little bit out of the way, and I had some difficulty reaching the host to retrieve a pair of shoes I left behind, but it all worked out in the end. Overall it was a great getaway.

We love being at the beach and Ericksons house is perfect for beachcombing and enjoying a campfire.

spectacular sunsets every night and the beautiful beach just a few feet away from your front door. I Will be going back.
