Newly renovated Sea Pines home minutes from beach, with heatable pool & Spa

Beautiful home, comfortable beds, excellent communication from host and rental company!

Place was fantastic. Perfect for large family. Loved the main living area. Was large, open, and convenient for our family to be together. Pool, patio, hot tub was really nice. Having the added touch of being able to rent bikes ahead of time and waiting at the house for when we arrived, was awesome. Kudos to property mgmt

House is on a quiet court yet you have easy bike access to the beach, Salty Dog Cafe & Harbour Town. Open concept kitchen / family room is great for hanging out. Kids loved the pool & the adults enjoyed the spa.

Overall it was a very nice property and very roomy for all 10 of us adults.

We loved this home. It was everything we wanted. We stayed for two weeks and wanted a home that felt relaxing and very beach-like, but also a home that we could settle into and enjoy family meals. The amenities were great, and we loved the pool!!

Reviewer Comments: While the house was lovely we will not rent again from this management company. We were quite frustrated when the spa would not work so we reached out to the property manager. Future renters, be warned, if you do not pay for pool heat the spa heat will not turn on. We did not want or need the pool heated, it was June and very hot outside. My husband and I were really looking forward to using the spa in the evenings once the sun went down. The houses we rent on HHI all have pools with an attached spa and there has never been a charge to turn on the spa bubbles and heat with other rental companies, especially in the summer. We will not rent from this company again because the manager we spoke to was rude and condescending. There is room for improvement in the descriptive listing of the home. They should call out that the spa will not turn on unless pool heat is paid for as we felt miss informed. Also, the sheets were pilled and not washed with fabric softener. We literarily went to HomeGoods and bought cotton sheets to use while staying here. Our experience was that this management firm will nickel and dime you and cuts corners on amenities like quality sheets and extras like beach towels. Had they not been rude on the phone and offered an apology and or a solution I would have never written a negative review about our experience. I work with the general public and alway approach things in a kind manner and was not met with that type of service when I called. We did have a couple of maintenance things go wrong with the home that I mentioned to them and they didn't even give us warning that they were sending maintenance to fix things. Also, when we checked in we were told to go to the wrong beach access. Again, when all of these things were brought to the attention of the property manager she was an absolute jerk to us. Her personality and the lack of professionalism she exhibited really rained on our stay. Customer service was lost on her.

Home perfect for our group of 8. Nice open kitchen, living room and games area. Lots of games to choose from and extra spices in pantry. Only thing missing was a fly swatter. Three large bedrooms with private baths and we made good use of the 4 bunk beds, too and 4th bathroom. Loved the pool and splurged for the heated hot tub…great to rent bikes (at least 2) to ride on the beach and on the bike paths. Easy walk to beach access; not so easy with over 75 old because it’s still about 1/2 mile walk and there’s no dropoff point. Loved night at Harbor Town, lunch at Salty Dog and trying out the different golf courses in the area. We’d definitely recommend it!

Clean property and spacious enough to hold my immediate and extended family. Short walk to beach access without having to deal with all that sand. Ideal rental property. Pool was a much appreciated amenity.

Property was clean, well maintained and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The pool and spa were big hits. The Sea Pines location was also great for getting to the beach (.5 mile), Harbour Town & Salty Dog. We recommend renting bikes to make it easier to get to all of those locations. Island time provided a bunch of useful information and was easy to get a hold of whenever we had questions. Only frustration about the property was no beach towels and only 3 beach chairs. Island time was upfront about a lack of both, however we have found those items to be standard at previous homes we've rented on the island.

We loved having an open floor plan for everyone to be together but doing different things simultaneously. We paid the extra fee for the pool and spa to be heated, which was well worth it. Would definitely stay here again!!
