The owners of this property are wonderful. The fridge wasn't working due to a power outage. They came to check things out within 20 minutes and had the fridge running within a couple of hours. Super friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful. It would be nice to have a shower in the main bathroom. And also it would be helpful to have a lamp and mirror in the basement bedroom but overall it was excellent.

This was our third stay at this wonderful property, and it was every bit as perfect as the first two. As birders who enjoy cooking our own meals, we really appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, the easy drive to the national park, and the absolutely beautiful sunset views. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

The property was spotless and easy to keep clean during our stay with 6 adults. The view of Lake Erie was spectacular from rooms on the back (2nd floor bedroom, dining room and living room). The kitchen was well supplied and great for preparing meals, as we preferred to eat in. The home was very tastefully decorated. The backyard was only accessible by a side door and only had 4 chairs. The beach is accessible by a ladder over the sea wall. It is not an easy climb for seniors. Two areas of concern-it is advertised as a three bedroom, but the third bedroom is in the basement and there is no egress or exit window that opens in the case of an emergency. The other area of concern is the electrical. The upstairs bedrooms had a switch that if one of the guests turned on the bathroom light, it turned on the other bedroom light at the same time. The steps were rather steep into the basement, which would be another concern if you had any kind of mobility issue. The second floor bathroom that is used by both of the bedrooms, had only a large garden tub, but no shower. 6 of us were using the shower on the main floor as the only shower available.I would recommend this place for a family of 4, not using downstairs bedroom, and request electrical wiring inspection. Point Pelee National Park was literally just down the road…a Canadian park worth exploring. I hope to come back during future spring bird migration.Hosts were pleasant, had helpful suggestions and easy to message.

The house was immaculately clean, and very nicely renovated. The location was perfect for us, being walking distance to the park. The amount of beach available at the property is probably very variable, however no matter what, an adventurous person could swim there. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! The sunset views were absolutely stunning, with the cottage located right on a private and peaceful beach—perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The newly renovated interior felt fresh and modern, and everything was spotlessly clean. It was also very comfortable and well-equipped, making it ideal for a family vacation. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene getaway with beautiful scenery and cozy accommodations.

Between the gorgeous decor, privacy and proximity to Point Pelee National Park, this property is indeed a bit of paradise - my husband, myself, our teenage daughter and senior mother enjoyed our early July visit immensely.Mike and Megan were very responsive to our (minor) inquiries and their recommendations for things to do and places to eat were spot on. Great hosts! The property is absolutely spotless and soothingly decorated, with an unreal view of the waterfront from the living and dining rooms. The kitchen is very well equipped and functional, and the bedrooms were comfortable (great patio off the principle suite!) with nice separation for privacy. The outdoor space on the water is small but there is enough space to hang out; the sun loungers were especially appreciated. It may be difficult for the very young and those with mobility issues to climb the breakwall ladder to directly access the water. We brought our paddleboards and were able to tip them over the wall easily - the access to the water is much appreciated, especially when the lake is warm and shallow enough to enjoy a swim whenever you'd like! The property is very close to Point Pelee National Park, which is why we booked. We rented bikes (quite affordably) and took several cruises through the park with our teenager - there is little traffic in the area. I can also envision biking into Leamington -- hopefully next time!Just a head's up that the area is buggy in July - bring lots of repellent!

Amazing place - brightly remodeled, and Impeccably clean and furnished. Stayed 3 nights with 2 other couples, spent most of day in the park then returned here for carryout and to relax. Made one meal here, kitchen well stocked. About 10min walk to park, perfect for our birding trip. Can't wait for next year!

The location is amazing and we enjoyed the view overlooking the water. The home is very clean and the kitchen well stocked.Although the homes are very close together along this road, it was incredibly quiet - we did not see or hear any of the neighbours. Megan is very responsive and we would certainly stay here again!

This was our second time staying at this incredible VRBO, and it somehow managed to be even better than the first! We visited for Family Day weekend, and it was absolutely perfect in every way.1. The View: The view of Lake Erie is breathtaking. In winter, with the lake frozen far out, the landscape looks both desolate and stunning—something truly special to wake up to every morning.2. Point Pelee National Park: Visiting in the off-season was a dream—no crowds, just peaceful trails and plenty of wildlife, including so many wild turkeys! It felt like having the park to ourselves.3. The Kitchen: We love to cook, and this kitchen is a dream! Fully stocked with everything needed for meal prep, perfectly laid out, and so easy to use. We made all our meals at home, even coming back from the park each day for a hot lunch.4. The Hosts: Mike and his team go above and beyond. Mike called the day before we arrived, worried about us driving in the forecasted snowstorm. While we were on route, he texted to say he had salted the steps but reminded us to be careful. Then, the next morning, he showed up and snowblowed everything! The care and attention to detail are unmatched. We would rate this 11/10 if we could. This place is officially our go-to spot, and we already can’t wait to come back!

Came to visit Pelee national park and stayed at a fabulous cabin on Lake Erie. This updated cabin has a subtle artsiness. Extremely comfortable and welcoming. Hosts were very accommodating and respectful. I would definitely recommend this place. I personally plan to return

This property offers a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Outside receives sunlight from dawn to dusk, and access to water. There are so many windows to provide natural sunlight and an amazing view of the water. You don’t have to leave the property to have a fulfilled weekend. However, there are many things to do in the area as well.

We are avid outdoor enthusiasts and birders, and our stay at this property was nothing short of outstanding. The interior was impeccably clean, providing a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials for meal preparation, making it easy to enjoy homemade meals. The sunset views from the property were breathtaking, and we especially loved spending our evenings by the charming outdoor fire pit. This location exceeded our expectations, and we are already looking forward to our next visit.

Love the awesome views of the lake from family room or dining area. Relax while looking at sunset on the deck or 2nd floor balcony when outside. And love love love the master bedroom - spacious tub, floor to ceiling windows and nice touch with yoga mat. You set the bar high for cottage stay.
