Newly renovated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

House was clean, but it does not come across as a newly renovated property as listed. There is some wear and tear in the kitchen, couches seem older, and there are some spots that don't seem finished. There are no hooks or dressers in any room so all of our belongings had to go on the floor. The BBQ was older and not clean. It was smoking due to all of the leftover grease/food in the pan underneath and we had to stop using it. Pillows were very flat and towels were very thin and cheap. There were no beach towels at all so be warned that you must bring your own. The only contact we had with the owner was to ask if we could leave our luggage on the deck before we checked in so we did not have to drag it to the beach and we were told there wasn't room on the deck (there was actually plenty of room), but we could check in early for an additional $200 which we did not do. The bathrooms, however, were new and very nice. Outdoor shower was great. The bed set up is also good and the air conditioners work great. The location is very good, a short walk to Schooners, the ferry, and the beach. Most of the beach chairs there were in good condition; there are about 7 of them. Overall, it was a decent house, but you may need to bring some things with you.

This is our 3rd time renting this house, always have a great time, The home is just what we need to accommodate 5 couples. Any problems are quickly fixed by Brian. Just leaving and looking forward to returning again.

Brian... some suggestions from our experience to improve the overall stay of guests. 1. Better lighting on 1st floor 2. Hooks in bedrooms to hang towels/bags. All bags/luggage gets thrown on the bedroom floor 3. Shelves/cabinet under TV for storage 4. Toilet paper holder in bathrooms 5. Ceiling fans 6. Clean the A/C filters 7. Refrigerator with ice maker 8. A supply of paper plates/plastic utensils. Who wants to be doing dishes on vacation. We did bring a bunch but not enough 9. Shower stand in upstairs bathroom for shampoo soap instead of throwing everything on the floor. 10. Screen on front door to keep the flies out. 11. A supply of beach towels Besides the refrigerator/fans most of these are simple and inexpensive improvements. thanks for a great stay.

Great location, very convenient for ferry, restaurants in OBP, and beach. Quick 15 walk to ocean beach. Great for couples or families.
