We booked the home for my son’s graduation & when we arrived it was filthy! I spoke with the property manager & since we had family coming before they could get a cleaning service in we said we would clean upon their offer to refund the cleaning deposit & first night stay. Unfortunately we under estimated how long it would take. My mom & I spent 3 ½ hours cleaning until 8 pm far after r other family arrived for dinner. I thought that was awful but the over 10 hours (no exaggeration) I spent trying to get the refund was worse. They never issued it despite the Property Manager & one of the owners confirming numerous times they agreed to it & emphasizing with me how awful this was. The other owner who VRBO had their number refused to answer VRBO’s numerous calls with his secretary always stating he was busy. VRBO said they couldn’t do anything without his approval. I am still very angry but am at a loss as to what to do. We have stayed at dozens of VRBOs & always had wonderful experiences. This was the worst. I strongly recommend never ever staying at this home.
