This property was exactly as posted with no surprises. Everything was perfectly clean and maintained, with comfortable beds. Good restaurant within a five minute walk - Robinson’s Wharf. Ten minutes by car to Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. Fun stay for five sisters!
Property is well kept and as advertised. Plenty of room. Clean. Full Kitchen. Good beds.
Very clean, plenty of room, easy ride over to Boothbay. We enjoyed the stay and were very comfortable. Although across from the water, you do not have views of the water from inside and you are on a busy road which is noisy.
We loved this house so much. Had a lovely feel and location. Everything was clean and was the perfect size for our group.
Our 2 families recently stayed for a family reunion and found the property to be well equipped and clean. There is ample parking. Close to Robinsons and Boothbay. Easy check In communication and fast internet for streaming. The kitchen had everything we needed including dish pods and extra garbage bags. The only thing we couldn’t find was a cutting board. We would stay again
This property was recently remodeled, clean, and very cute. The location was perfect. A very short walk to Robinson‘s Wharf, which we ate at every day. A quick drive in to Boothbay Harbor. We had a small problem with the hot water in one of the showers and the property manager had someone out to fix it within the hour. She was really great to work with. Our only complaint was the beds. Unfortunately, they were all very uncomfortable. This is the only reason we rated this property a four instead of five stars. Outside of the beds, this is a perfect house for families. We brought our three children and they really enjoyed the property as well.
We had a wonderful 2 night stay at this little gem in Southport. The area was spacious, and perfectly fit our group of 4 adults and 2 small children. The bathrooms and kitchen were modern and well-functioning. The location is great. We were able to walk to dinner one night, and enjoyed walking to the swing bridge to watch boats pass. It's an easy drive into Boothbay / Boothbay Harbor for daytime activities.
This property exceeded my expectations! From the initial booking request thru the entire stay, everything was fantastic. Property description is spot on as the unit has been completely remodeled with all new furniture, linens, etc. Can't wait to return again next year!
Thanks
Our family of 9 stayed in both units at Coveside the first week in August and had a wonderful stay. We had the prospective of staying there last year under the former owner and since then a complete renovation has taken place that transformed this home into a beautiful and comfortable rental. The locating at the entrance to Southport Island is perfect for access to Boothbay Harbor shops and cruises but also away from the hustle of downtown. Our host, Kim, went the extra mile in getting everything ready for our stay. Because of supplier and labor issues, finishing the remodel in time for our stay was a challenge. Our “hats off” to her for ensuring everything was ready. Additionally, the new kitchen in Unit #3 was perfect for those of us that love to cook and Robinson’s Wharf is just across the street when you want great seafood. We hope to return again next time we come back to Maine.
