The space.
The home has everything need to enjoy a luxury stay. The home comes fully furnished including TVs, Amazon Alexas, and a pedal boat; the kitchen comes fully stocked with brand new stainless steal appliances, dinnerware, silverware and cookware. The kitchen also has a Nespresso coffee machine, tea kettle, and a wine fridge. All cleaning supplies, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. are provided. There is an interior patio with a relaxing jacuzzi.

Each bedroom has a new smart TV, an Alexa, luxury sheets, and dressers. The master bedroom has a large walk-in closet, brand new shower/bath with high-end appliances and finishes, and a balcony overlooking the canal. The dining table seats 6. The cozy living room has a fireplace and a large screen smart TV.

Enjoy views from the canal from the brand new back deck. The deck has outdoor seating, a new fire pit and a new BBQ.

The home comes with a private dock and access to a pedal boat to cruise the Venice Canals.

There is a large 2-car garage, ring cameras, brand new lighting/electrical,.

We have a referral for an in-house home masseuse or a private chef, and extra housekeeping service is available upon request at an additional cost.

The indoor fire place is decorative. The outdoor fire place is fully functional.

    We had a fantastic stay at Ben’s place in Venice Beach! From the start, Ben was very responsive and helpful in answering our questions, which made our arrival smooth and stress-free. The property itself is excellent—well maintained, comfortable, and in a perfect location to enjoy everything Venice Beach has to offer. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and highly recommend this home to anyone visiting the area.

    Great property, just know there is no central AC. Just fans and one portable air conditioner for one bedroom only. If you’re a hot sleeper, it could be an issue in the summer. Ok for cooler months!

    Beautiful house right on the canals, fantastic deck, great Jacuzzi, great CA architecture vibe. Just one note -- the house is very airy with great light, and so you may want to use a sleeping mask (the hosts helpfully provide them). Highly recommended.

    Our group of three moms + four teens had a wonderful stay at this house. The house is lovely and nicely appointed. We took advantage of the Jacuzzi, the paddleboat, the bikes. We made a couple of meals in the kitchen, which was nicely appointed. It is such a privilege to be able to stay directly on the Venice canals. They are quiet and beautiful and fun to explore. We were able to make a day at Venice Beach and Santa Monica without needing to get in the car. Highly recommend!

    Howland House is set in a magical location, right on the Venice Canals! The home is an architectural gem, modernized for all creature comforts, and appointed with luxurious furnishings and lovely amenities (soaps, towels, etc.). Also provided are bicycles and a pedal boat to tool around the canals in the gorgeous Venice weather. My sister and nephew joined us from NJ for a weekend retreat and it is a memory that will last forever. Thanks to Ben and his family for a wonderful stay!

    This was a perfect place. Location is superb, and is a very short distance to the beach (there is path taking you directly to the beach). The place is clean, new looking and tastefully furnished. The one thing to be aware of is that the master bedroom does not have full curtains, so there is light in the morning (that didn't bother us, but may for some, the host provided eye masks if need be). All in all an amazing place.

    We stayed here with our 3 year old son and my parents and wow, everything about the property was perfect and more than we imagined. Incredibly clean and everything you could possibly need (including a pram) which came in so handy! Being located right on the canals was very special and the nights spent on the water will be remembered forever. Cannot wait to return again soon!

    Fantastic location. Fantastic house. Beds super comfortable and cozy, clean linens. Awesome showers! Hot tub was clean and well maintained. Though it’s older with no real jets per se, it is very private and in an outdoor space so you can see the sky and unwind. I loved it! Great decks to relax and people watch walking the canals. 10 minute, easy stroll to the beach or Abbot Kinney. Bikes in the garage were great to ride to Santa Monica pier or Manhattan Beach. Washer&Dryer = awesome! Costco and Trader Joe’s nearby. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Very spacious with plenty of room and a great kitchen. The only downside to the house is there are no windows that open in the master bedroom so you have to leave the French doors to the balcony open which allows sand flies and mosquitos in. We did utilize the fan to keep their little wings flapping away and for the most part, that worked but we did end up with a few bites. It did not distract from the beauty and loveliness of the home. We will return to this little slice of heaven! Enjoy!
