Newly remodeled Coach House on Crooked Lake with new dock

The home is on a single parcel with another rental with shared access which is not clearly stated in the description. If you are going to bring a boat parking a trailer is not possible. The home is in a shallow heavy weed area that is not suitable for docking a boat or swimming. Home was not recently renovated as advertised needs update. The home needs to be cleaned. The parking is a mess and not suitable for two dwellings on a single parcel. The home is not as advertised and not worth the money.

House was accurately listed. Cancelation policy was not forgiving under unfortunate circumstances however we made it work. Cute property.

Could work on the air conditioning situation. Noise from unit and bedrooms were very warm.

My young daughter and I stayed with my older parents in this carriage house for four nights and we really enjoyed our stay. The lake offered us some really nice boating and there is a system of lakes that this one is a part of so you can enjoy several days worth of exploration. Though the property is at a T of two busy roads, once you walk down a little further from the main highway, it gets much quieter and makes for some lovely walks. There is no central air so if planning to open the windows in the evenings, the road noise can be loud. Therefore, consider bringing a sound machine if traveling with children. There are plenty of towels towels and they (and the bed linens) are of excellent quality. There was no furniture to store clothing in upstairs but a lovely painted dresser in the downstairs bedroom. We didn’t have any clothes hangers but there was a lot of wire shelving in the closet that we set our clothes on. The owner didn’t have a sheet of information with things like the Wi-Fi info or where to get the kayaks but he was very accessible by phone and was able to answer our questions as they came up. We had a very nice day and thoroughly enjoyed our time in the area. A lovely spot in Michigan!

Clean, good accommodations with a great location to access everything the area offers. Great dock for fishing too.

Great place to stay, cozy with update to date features.

The photos of the property were very misleading. It appeared in the the photos that we had a view of the water from our balcony, but this is not true. There is another a house right in front and all you are looking at is a roof. Also, the beach was very bad, in fact no beach and you good not swim due to all of the reeds, scum and muck. Also, the chairs provided outside were very poor. Could at least had some nice lounge chairs down by the water to enjoy the view. The property is unkempt outside, lots of weeds, etc. The inside is OK but getting beaten up and needs work.

I stayed at this property for a long weekend, it was my girlfriend and I with two other couples and we had a blast! The kayaks are great the fire pit is great and the house was great. The house was cozy and had everything we needed wish we could’ve stayed longer! The neighbors were very polite and cool also.

The house was exactly what we needed, the process was quick and easy. We had a great time exploring the area.

The house was fine. We couldn't swim in the lake.
